Please share more info about your setup. I assume each camera is either recording to itself or a connected drive. Do both cams have an HDMI jack? If so, you can run them into an HDMI switcher (4 in-1out) and monitor both cams on one monitor. I use this on multi cam shoots...very affordable: amzn.to/4h58scu

I have two camera that record internally to CFExpress. 1 camera has sdi out and the other one hdmi. I have a monitor and wondering if I can use the blackmagic switch you reviews to see both camera in a monitor?

@@lvproductions-realestate Unfortunately, not. You can only see one camera. You need a multi input switcher, like the one I mentioned.

@@JeffReviewsStuff Thanks. Actually the problem I referred to is called the "Gamma Shift" and is known to happened with the Quicktime player , after exporting a video on a Mac. The colour profile in the Mac seems part of the problem, and I heard that the Monitor 3G gets its image independently from the OS, thus bypassing the problematic Mac colour profile. I'm looking for more info on this, hence my question to you.

It does get warm after recording for a while, but most drives do, so it's not a concern.

It will be great if we have a test for it :) I tested some small ssd like nvme 2230 with box but it's too hot

Hi Jeff. Unfortunately, I don't know. Lexar only mentions iPhone 15 and up.

Yes, it's sturdy. We just travelled with it over the holidays and it worked great!

How are you trying to use it? My main use cases: -Shoot to it using Blackmagic Camera app -Transfer files from Blackmagic app to drive In settings, under Media > Save Clips to, I select the Lexar.

@@JeffReviewsStuff Thank you. I am not a photographer, I play music, and wanted to video performances. I downloaded the black magic app, but haven`t used it yet. I assumed that my iPhone would immediately see the drive, and tell me it`s connected, and it would be plug and play. Thank you. I will dig in.

@@raymondcardona2635 I just tested it using the regular Camera app. After you shoot vid or pics, in Photos, select your files and click the Send icon in lower left. It will bring up a menu of options. Choose Save to Files. Under Locations, you should see Lexar. Good luck!

You're right, Tony. Lexar needs to be more transparent about which iPhone models will work with this. AND Apple needs to stop jerking us around with old school tech on new devices. USB 2 speeds in 2024 is a joke.

This works on a Samsung too, I've seen videos where people are using them on S24 and S23 Ultras. Not this drive but a spare Samsung 970 Evo NVMe SSD into an adapter and plugged in, and I took huge hyperlapses of the night sky and northern lights on my Samsung, so there's no reason why this shouldn't work too

Which Neewer cage? The one I reviewed? If so, it won't. The cage is too thick to accommodate the adapter. You can use a short USB-C cable, though.

That doesn't sound right...literally. 😀 If all inputs and gain are off, it should be silent. Perhaps you received a damaged unit. If all inputs and gain are zero, I can push Master to top and not hear any noise.

I think the input volume is too low, it happens to me too. try handling on the GAIN until you have the light

@@giannisaxlive4389 I am suspecting it's damaged during transport or something. It doesn't have any light even when turning gain to max. Even on lines 7/8 (rca) it doesn't show any light.

Is your master fader up? It won't send a signal to the meters, but will send a signal to phones/speakers if master is down.

On a mixer in this price class, it's incredible to even get a separate bus...one reason I bought it. After testing, I just learned some new things: 1. Audio sent through AUX with FX: -Dry signal heard through 1/4" AUX output -FX signal heard on Master out 2. Master/AUX button selects which to send to monitors/phones. If running FX through AUX: -FX heard on Master -No FX heard on AUX In you situation, send the feed from the 1/4" AUX out on the mixer to speakers. Hope that helps!

Sorry to hear! No, I don't get streaks, but I do make it a point to open up the scanner and clean the scanning glass and rollers. Like any automatic feed scanner, they get dirty from all the photos passing through them. It usually does the trick.

A device with Thunderbolt 3 will work with Thunderbolt 4. Thunderbolt 4 is fully backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, allowing devices from the older standard to connect and function with the newer one. However, while compatibility is assured, some advanced features of Thunderbolt 4, such as support for dual 4K displays or improved charging capabilities, may not be fully utilized by Thunderbolt 3 devices. So you know, I haven't tested it with a TB 4 cable, as I don't have one.

Hi! The hub is great. It allows you to plug in an external mic and also power your phone. BUT, you don't need it, if you're only looking to shoot with the drive. Hope that helps!

Will it work with a thunderbolt 4 cable? My new M3 won't recognize it and I have the desktop video setup
