Thanks bro
How much was the gearbox
5500 nzd
thanks mate another question how much power does you rb30 make ?
362.8HP
can we get an update please Jono ?
has been faultless, have done a few thousand ks and given it a good workout even done a few burnouts, very happy with the conversion
Hey mate, did you use the original clutch fork? Or new one?
Also did you're old sensors all work on the new box?
rb20det clutch fork yes original
havnt used any sensors @@FirstLast-tb7kp
Thanks I've picked up one of these boxes and working through the parts list I need.
Good video champ 👍🏼
Mate where are you located. I’m building a VL now and wanted to put in a 34 box could I get your help mate
happy to help I am in North Otago
Hey Jono. Good vid! What speedo sender did you use? Ive got a r33 big box going in mine. Cheers mate!
I got one made at WAGS in Wellington
@@regeneratingkiwi cheers! will look into that. Did it adapt it from electronic to cable?
yes was very simple no wires at all@@YarnsFromReddit
sure did @@YarnsFromReddit
and no one likes a leaky box hahahaha
Awesome work mate where did you get the break lines from?
Beautiful VL mate, what gearbox?
In this video it was a rb20det now it has a rb25det big bix

Nice one, my parents had a NA 1986 auto Berlina same colour but blue interior. Always wanted a Turbo version or Calais but very rare and expensive now in Australia
Hey bro I got a question what’s the difference between a vl Berlina na sedan and a normal vl
SL is the base model, Executive is the one up, and then Berlina is the one above that. Berlina has black around the windows, different seat trim, carpet door cards, different tail ights and rear garnish.
Enjoyed this video, learnt some good things! Where did you get the hub adaptors from?
Planet parts
@@regeneratingkiwi I forgot to ask, where did you source the brake lines from?
How many kilowatts does this VL have?
270kw
@@regeneratingkiwi Thank you very much. I’m building a VL right now and your video was very helpful.
Also, how do you disable your blow off valve very quickly like you mentioned in the video?
@@hec22 replace the spring with a piece of solid steel 👌
@@regeneratingkiwi Thanks, I need the perfect dose
Take that blow off valve out of there. Dang dude
Nice VL. My grandad had a red one that he had for so many years. Gutted it was sold. He upgraded to something a little more safe. Newer truck. Yours is so tidy. Mint
Good vid mate well-done , I ran a headlight booster loom which is quite similar around $30 on eBay . Definitely worth doing like you said , Difference is like night and day
Thank you Geoff and Finn for your generous "leap of faith " for Jono and Jake to demo their innovative configuration. Will watch with much interest the follow up recovery grazing plan as you share your learning. Thanks Jono for your courage to question deeply and action potential solutions. 🙏
Good info mate. Cheers!
Do us some burrn outs bro.
Those synthetic fertilise have gotten Expensive
When will it be grazed
This was created as a summer and autumn feed crop
Nice video bro, quick question! When doing the vt brake upgrade, are you doing vt rotors aswell, or vl rotors?
VT rotors
Loved the video was very informative. Just wanted to ask if you could let me know what was involved in converting the rear to disc, whether it be in a reply or just a quick video going over it. Thanks
Thanks mate. Rear discs is easy, just use VN or v8 VL or turbo VL discs, caliper and backing plate. all bolts up, you do need to change from 25 spline to 28 spline which is easy, I used VN V8 diff centre and axles cut down to suit VL axle width. use VN or VL v8 or turbo wheel bearings and also need to change handbrake cable
Great video Jono I used to own a white Factory BT1 Vl Turbo here in Oamaru few years back wish I had kept it
Did the vt master cylinder bolt upto the Vs booster or did you have to modify the pushrod? Thanks
Just cut off the adjustment screw and a little bit of the rod to take pressure off plunger
Thanks mate cheers!
Was the car de registered? And if so did u get it registered after you get the lvvta certification I’m in process of doing exact same thing to my vl commodore
My car had the rego on hold
The geezer with the product in his hair doesn't look like he has ever been outside, let alone on a farm,
VT brakes were pretty good.. Did ya almost kiss the steering wheel in your initial test?? And gotta ask.. that bleeding kit.. easy to use?? Thats the last job to do before certification right??
It was like wow!! She stops now!! Yes very easy to use and works well. Ready for certification in 4 weeks

Tears. We or a lot of us have done this. We put work in front of family. So sad. GOD Bless You Jono.
Very tidy interior
Excellent interview. Lots of gold in it. One I'll refer back to as lots to take in. 🤗
nice car great content and as I'm building a VL Turbo as well Subscribed.
Wicked.. ENJOY
Great interview Jono, very enlightening and thought-provoking. It will be nice when everyone can get along, and hopefully see the big picture. Keep up the great interviews and work!

Thank you for this brilliant dialogue. I’m wish is that as many people can see this as possible. If the opening global dialogue had been one based on shared information, deep dives, trust and questioning what is needed to bring forth improved mental and physical health for all species and the planet then we would be in a different place right now. 🙏🙏🙏
I thoroughly enjoyed this.. We all have dreams... and farming this way, this is my ultimate dream.. Many mistakes happen along the way .. but.. this is how we learn and grow.. watching this has reinvigorated my dream.. Thankyou ALL for your Time..
Great place Jono, bloody proud of you for creating a place like this man. We need to all speak up. Cheers from Auckland man nothing is as they say it is with these responses up here for a hyperspreader it really doesn't spread and if it does we're all casual contacts of it 8 weeks ago by now the way traffic and shopping has been. Omicron they have already let 8 cases in...bloody globalists marxists man what are they up to.
Thank you for this podcast. Was really thought provoking. We need to find safety for both tribes and unify before we tear each other apart.
Great work. Really enjoyed this. I personally think the individuals and systems that are behind these current situations, have had every step ,guided by psychologist's . What has caused the greatest confusion is the fact that, so much of this has purposely, been based on HALF TRUTHS, much more deadly than straight out lies. I also personally think, that this is all a distraction, and much bigger issues or end games are at play [or a combination of both].
Thanks everyone ...valuable podcast... freedom of choice and acceptance of others choices.. We are all allowed our own perspective... there is no right or wrong... Individual choices are allowed... - if that makes sense.. No judgement
Thank you Jono and Findal .Absolutely brilliant, now the difficult part, putting it into practise ,as often as humanly possible.
very good, the rackets of the world are becoming apparent to you.
