    Great video but I really don’t understand what the point of a wing is if you add weight pockets. If you add them you essentially just have a BCD with a lot of extra steps.

    • @Daniel-ie3vq
      @Daniel-ie3vq 24 дня назад

      The point of bp/w is lift distribution and modularity. Weight pockets aren't the differentiating factor of jacket-style BCDs, even more so because most of those, especially low and mid end, aren't equipped with them and require the diver to use a weight belt.

  • @danflaherty1132

      People opt to use pull over gloves on their Santi drysuit cuff from the factory so they don’t have to spend $175 for the Santi Smart Glove kit. Using the loading rings makes it an effortless one person task 🤙😎

    Very helpful video! I’m stil having trouble deciding. Can you advise on which system has the smallest footprint? I’m leaning towards the Kubi system.

      The smallest foot print is the kubi systems, then the PSI press lock, then the thenar, then the plastic systems.

      @@timsgeartips thank you! Would you recommend the standerd or fitted?

      Fitted kubi system is expensive and difficult to install into a pre existing drysuit. The technician will likely need to take the sleeve and taper it larger or smaller to fit the kubi rings. If your goal is replaceable seals, you should do this. If you’d rather just have a usable glove system, get the standard

    Is that exhaust a wide version? Would love to see you do a video on removing and reinstalling an Atomic exhaust.

    When using the dry glove on the ring, why fold the extra material back over as opposed to letting the extra material go to the end of the ring? Seems like the beauty ring would create a second seal similar to how the smaller front O ring does. I'm sure I am missing something here and not saying I know better, I just want to understand better. Thank you

      You can certainly give that a go, shouldn't be any reason why that wouldn't work! The way shown here is just te "by the book" method in the santi manual
