She flies. Ignore the ugly traffic pattern, that doesn’t count.
On the specs in the description you say the useful load is 935 pounds. But can be bumped up to 1,040 pounds useful load. I’m curious, how is that? That’s awesome you can bump up the useful load. Beautiful plane!
You really don't need Air Conditioning... tell that to my wife... 😂 =
Gladly🤷🏻♂️
Have you finished the one you bought from OKC? I was part owner in that one.
@@767driver this actually is that plane!
@@EvanBrunye Vergil informed me. Looks amazing. You did a fantastic job.
Brilliant Evan!
Whoops. Haha
does HE come with the plain? ;-)

Nice job on this one.
Agree that Lemo plugs are the best way to go!
Nice 👍🏼 1min into the video. Did you use sika flex in the seem them filler?
Beautiful plane and I hope this person gets what he is asking.
I also have seen this plane in person and it’s an eye catcher! The build quality is top notch!
I love the colors, pics don't do it justice. I saw this one in person and it's stunning! Fit & finish are phenomenal. Should sell fast to some lucky new owner!
Beautiful bird! Keep up the great work!
Nice one. You might like to indicate 915iS or 916iS
@@justindwyer3430 915.
@@EvanBrunye put the 915is sticker on it .
Very nice. 👍
Beautiful. Chute?
No chute.
@EvanBrunye So 4 years later, are you seeing any corrosion at all?
@@patrikj no
@@EvanBrunye Thanks for letting me know. I'm going with "no priming" as well.
Great workmanship and expert innovative mods! Keep up the great work and please keep posting.
Hey Evan, nice video and good to see you posting again. Can't wait to follow your HW build. Are you concerned about not having the external alternator? I know most TSi builders essentially used it as front ballast anyway, but curious how close an IFR platform gets to hitting the current ceiling supplied by the Rotax internal ones.
I really enjoy your builds Evan. I wish I had known about you when I was building. I sure would have bought one of your rear kitfox storage compartments you put in your kitfox builds. You are really good at what you do! I would have never thought about ac on a sling but looks like you did it.
Thanks man! The aft baggage box on my Kitfox was a one-off, I CNC cut the aluminum but it was all mostly a rough draft that had to be hand worked to fit. Looks clean, serves its function well, but probably not worth it at the end of the day
Really looking forward to some good high wing build videos. There’s almost none right now.
I’m sure lots of people will be doing them soon, the kits really just started shipping a few months ago and are in full production now I believe
@@EvanBrunye I believe you’re right, but I have to stress “good”. Your builds are another level.
This is excellent innovation! Two questions: 1) Why did you choose an engine driven compressor instead of electrically driven? 2) what is the gph hit without the compressor engaged?
Thanks. 1- I considered it. Comes down to- no system is 100% efficient, so I wanted to avoid stacking inefficiencies. Electric compressors have a massive amp draw. 2- with ac off we weren’t seeing any noticeable difference in performance. Possible there was some performance loss, but not outside of a typical knot or two variation that always happens anyway
Nice work but planes shouldn't be kits. It's cuban conditions. Imagine getting a volkswagen in pieces and you had to spend 2000 hours building it yet still pay full price for it because the factory couldn't be bothered to get it certified. Are you familiar with Gogetair?
You can buy planes that aren’t kits , if that’s what you prefer. Go get air looks like a cool plane, but here’s the thing… It’s a KIT 😂 If you want the 2+2 it’s experimental, which means to get one in the US you’d have to do some sort of build assist with them. Which is exactly what these people are doing. Otherwise it’s just another 2 seat lsa…
@@EvanBrunye there are no spaces in the name. and it's not a kit, just not certified in usa, they are maybe waiting for mosaic
Kits allow certification under experimental category. This means you can remain flying instead of disassembling the entire airplane every year for annual "inspection" (regardless of how many hours it flew, even zero since overhaul this $5,000 maintenance catastrophe is mandated on every aircraft owner by FAA law).
@@EllipsisAircraft As I recall it's not that expensive if the plane works. Also you can just register it as experimental after it is factory made.
@@DanFrederiksen no you cant register a factory airplane as an experimental. Not unless it has experimental features. Then you are limited to test flying under conditions dictated by the FAA to test that feature. That is all. To fly it like a personal airplane while being experimental requires meeting "the 51% rule". I don't think you cognitively grasp the cost of factory certified airplanes. New 2024 Cessna 172 Skyhawks start at $400,000 base price.
What a great job Evan. That is awesome! It will be nice to hear from N141D on how it works this summer.
Good to see you back! I've been checking. Keep the videos coming.
Great Work and thanks for posting!
Nice
I got a lot wonderful comments about the build quality during the gas stops. Nobody even noticed the paint job 😊
Looking forward to your next videos🙏
Nice work. Looking forward to watching the high wing build. Those rear-actuated condenser vents could also be dual-purpose for chem-trail release. (We're on to you!).
I knew I shouldn’t have shown them!
Wow Great job
Evan, I love the little innovative tweaks you come up with, like the condensing unit outlets. Well done!
The electrically actuated exhaust vents are such a cool touch!
Need a rivet filler Evan?🛩😁
Impressive work! I am very interested in a parts list.
Where did you mount the GPS antenna?
It’s got a gps com combo antenna on top
Nice to see you posting again!
👍
Super impressive, cutting edge innovation, expertly executed. New owners will be so happy and others will be so jealous!
Awesome information about the ac system. I can't wait to see the high wing build. Looking forward.
I'm going to state the obvious here... Cool! ;)
Hi, how did you solved the Problem with the rivets. Thank you
Definitely interested in the Sling TSI and love some of the mods you have done on past builds. Keep up the great work!
The Kitfox looks fantastic!
you know the whole kit thing is dumb in my opinion the faa should just make an experimental class you can buy built from the factory how is it safer to have guys build these? i know this guy may build one safer than factory but for an amateur such as myself i dont think id do better than factory? think about it i think if i did it id pay someone to build it i dunno am i missing something seems to me you could get a plane built in a factory in south africa for less than 400k? also is it insurable? and whats the insurance going to cost i figure 25k annual?
Aircraft in the EAB category have a far superior safety record to certified aircraft. Not everyone has the skill set to build a kitplane themselves, and that’s where professional builders assistance comes in. My build assist program allows people like yourself to not only get an aircraft custom-tailored to your mission, but you’ll also gain a well-rounded understanding of your aircraft you’d never get from just purchasing a completed plane from a factory. With a thorough understanding of the internal components and assembly process of your aircraft, you’re far more equipped to solve little issues that inevitably pop up, but more importantly you’re able to notice small things before they ever develop into an issue. All this on top of the fact you end up paying less than half the total cost for a similarly equipped factory build aircraft. It appears as though you’re just at the beginning of your journey learning about the true advantage of experimental kit planes, and I strongly recommend you do some more research of your own into the subject.
how long does it take to be built maybe a year?
@@DrJoel-is3uy it depends on a lot of factors, but 8-10 months is typical.
Hi Evan, do you have more detailed pictures of how you routed the duct for the rear passengers?
Did you pressure test the tanks?
I love your work; everyone turns out beautiful
You should not be drilling any holes into the frame at all. Like the cable tray
