I don't think using body scrubs and then going in with an exfoliating sponge is adviceabble. If you don't go out daily or sweat excessively you can switch to just scrubbing with soaps or liquid body wash. Also don't scrub everyday. I scrub 1 to 3 times in a month. Growing up my dad never bathed with a sponge because it itches him, so you can actually skip that completely, seems your skin is sensitive. Also avoid introducing new products everytime. I hope this helps

I itch too. My doctor told me to use sponges once or twice every week if I can’t totally ditch sponges. For a while, I’ve been adding the Dr. Teal’s oil into my bath water and it’s so good. Leaves my skin moisturized and I don’t itch. That seems much better than applying oil before having a bath
