Fluid STRENGTH: You can use a wall or secure piece of furniture for support to aid in your balance. Finally, we try the same emphasis on one leg. Use all of the safe, secure, support structures you need to feel safe while practicing balance. -Enjoy!
You may not feel you want to use them however; Pillows, Cushions, Towels, Soft Blocks and other props are essential tools. Props support your body and foster deep awareness, autonomy, and strength. Using props does not make you weak or less than your personal best. Allowing yourself to embrace tension free and comfortable positions is an efficient means of gaining the full benefits of a life long exercise practice.

Your nostrils lead to your sinuses which lead to one common airway. It does not matter if you block an nostril to expand your rib cage.
Thank you for watching & Commenting. It helps my channel grow. As you correctly mentioned, regardless of airway blockage both sides of your ribs are moving during respiration. However that can be hard for many people to feel, so focusing on one side at a time can help increase awareness/feeling/comprehension. Sometimes the towel alone isn't enough to help people feel the sides of their body. Breathing into the same side nostril as the towel can help narrow the focus to the ribs on that side of your body.

Thank you for this lesson! I'm working on rehabbing nearly debilitating right side SI pain from work over stress injury. This was very helpful. The final knee crossover stretch was nearly no go as my inguinal hernia mesh does crazy things to the nerves in that area.

I just found your channel and I love your videos. They are fun and unique. I'm 70 years old and have done yoga in my 30' and 40's and always been a walker. I started doing Pilates and weight training with 2 different other people on ytube at the start of Covid to get in better shape. I like the fluidity of your routines and have found them challenging but doable. Please keep making more! I think there's a big market for us older individuals.
