Thanks so much for this informative video. I am considering this hotel and Hilton garden inn, which would you say was the easiest drive to cruise port? how long did it take you to get to cruise port entrance from both hotels?

Wife and I just returned from a cruise where we stayed at this Hotel. We are Gold members in the Hilton Honors program, so we try to go out of our way to stay with them and usually we have a great experience. Not here! Not at the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina. We had several 'issues' but will only highlight a couple here as to try and keep this brief. The first problem we encountered was being awakened at 10:00pm by the vacuum hitting the wall as they cleaned the room next to us. I understand, obviously, that rooms must be cleaned, but in the late evening with a very loud vacuum cleaner hitting our adjoining wall? When at the time I wrote a text to the front desk (a response welcoming us to the hotel from earlier in the day) I received the next morning a half-A** apology stating they were "an airport hotel" and have to clean rooms at all hours. The second issue is that they do not have luggage holding service. Upon disembarking our cruise we had several hours before catching our flight. We, in person, in the lobby asked the front desk about holding our luggage for a few hours (we offered to pay), to which we were told, "We don't do that". Never have stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer this service. Their are many other issues on our stay here, but in the interest of brevity will limit to these two examples. Needless to say, we will NEVER STAY AT THE HOTEL AGAIN.

Abbie you are hysterical. I did the I Fly on an Alaska. cruise. The guy in front of me put one foot in the wind tunnel and promptly chickened out. I had a blast doing it and it's looks like JJ had a great time doing it. The funny thing is my wife is a flight attendant and she refused to even try it. Go figure. Not sure if I ever want to fly with her again if she is afraid of a little height.

We chickened out 😝 but we did walk by it.

I haven’t done the balloon yet, lol maybe next time. It looked awesome! Thank you 😊
