Actually it kinda freaks me out that the overlay shown was not really 1 1/4 as we can see by looking at the ruler. Off by 1/8" maybe?

Mine basically fell off a couple weeks ago, the part that attaches to the side of the drawer. I cant for the life of me figure out how to reattach. It took me 3 weeks of googling just to figure out what this brand of joiners was called. Help!

If anyone comes looking for a solution w.r.t these brackets. I replaced them with Blum Brackets from Bunnings. Not a perfect fit but still a tighter and screw-able option that doesn’t stay loose and stay put. Hope that helps

Just painted my cabs, they had visible hinges, but I want to change them to the concealed but my overlay is only 1/4", those sold on Amazon have 1/2" or larger, can and how can I install these...use a shim?

Thank you. Great explanation! I had never noticed that the prior owner bought the wrong cabinet hinges and made a cut out on the side of the cabinets to fit the hinges (and make up for the overlay). If it wasn't for the door drooping and the need for new hinges I never would have noticed. 😅

My drawers to don’t have an inner panel to attach to. The drawer rail is attached to the back and front cabinet face only. Is there a solution for that?

Now I understand exactly what the overlay of the kitchen cabinet is. I am trying to install the hidden hinges on my 35 years old cabinet of 43 doors, some doors are 3/4" overlay but some others are all over between 1/2" to 1 1/4" overlay. Can I just buy the 3/4" overlay hinges (to make it easy), or I have to buy them exactly as they are right now? Thanks,

Great vid! What if my cabinet overlays vary from about 1/2" to 3/8", they are not exact either. Should I go with all 1/2" or 3/8" hinges or get these two different size hinges specific to each door? And, I am replacing the old outer (visible) hinges to these hidden frame hinges so not sure if that means I can go with all 1/2" or 3/8". Did order the Kreg jig also.
