4L with rear diff lock and it would be moving great. Also A trac. Many FJ you can do A trac and rear diff at same time which locks the rear and puts the power away from the spinning front left he had.

Terrible spotting and throttle control. And please , Always lock your diff when navigating through obstacles like that one smh . I rarely use my front diff lock.. just rear locker, ATrac , steady gas with left foot putting a little pressure on breaks...

id spend my money on a decent rig,,,something with 2 diffs,& a bit of travel,& maybe a diesel..

The guy didn't have his rear locker on. His spotter at some point in reply said, yes turn it all on. After that he stopped having issues.

Man I wish they did these as a 4 door turbo diesel with a removable hard top roof.

The problem isnt the IFS.. its simply a clearance problem. A bone stock JK wouldnt have done much better. A 3 inch lift and some 33 inch tires, and that Fj would cruise right through that. Id love to run that rail sometime in my FJ

Fire the spotter! If you have to backup more than once, then the SPOTTER is the problem. Should have navigated the whole thing without backing up once.
