Sanding fiber glass without a mask 😱

Matthew, I'm struggling to keep the surface of my tub rims smooth. They are nice when I start, but when the jobs are done, they are gritty. I vacum, wipe with acetone , tack with tape, etc., but still get grit. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Do you re float the grout before resurfacing?

Sorry, but this entire video is basically a before and after, with a lot of back-and-forth video, and never shows how anything is done, and does not show what product is used. Thumbs up if you want to see a proud DIY'er showing his work.

Does the cold interfere with the reglaze? Do you compensate using a different ratio?

You ever try using the quick dry caulk? It can be sprayed over immediately with no cracking. As a painter I use it all the time when spraying trim. I started using on tub refinishing as well and though I dont see the job weeks later, i have seen next day or two and no cracking yet.

when you use your apollo gun do you spray with your fan width wide open or do you bring it in a bit?

Epsome salt will stain a tub too😢

Well, first things first: hydrochloric acid used here for the cleaning process is an very hazardous material, and must be handled with extreme care as it can damage your skin, eyes, lungs (if you don't use appropriate masking) and should NOT be mixed with any water. Careful about allowing it to drain if you have any metal in your pipes. So, the whole video should have started with a stern warning. Not to mention the process was not really explained.
