My cat has gotten more resistant to revolution because in a different weight class, the smell changed and got stronger and he hates it now 😂
As soon as my girl feels the liquid, she bolts. She'll wake up from a dead sleep even. I'm at a loss.
Thank you for making this.
This is much more expensive than Bravecto. Is it a LOT better though.
Is this good for little cats?
I wanna use this on my cats, but I’m scared that if I apply it on both of them they might lick each other (they always do) and they might taste the liquid and idk if it might be toxic. It’s sometimes hard to trust medicine when it comes to my babys 😿
Is it necessary to bath our cat after this???
Thank you
thanks 🙏⭐️
Is the shoulder blade area somewhere they can’t reach to lick?
Yeah right, that cat must be sedated. Lol
I just put revolution on my cat. Followed these instructions exactly, and he took off and is hiding from me all squinty eyed and upset. Anyway, I’m sure he’ll come around. I certainly like that it’s safe and doesn’t require me to give him a pill. That’s never any fun 😊
How did Revolution work for your kitty? I am thinking of trying it for my girl
I purchased Revolution for my cat 6 months ago and the result is so amazing. Revolution is such a great product to kill fleas. Thanks Dr. Chamberlain.
can it treat a cat with heartworm that is medium to adult?
so this poison goes to the blood stream of a pet and then mites feeding on it while it’s released through pets skin they die. so this is like pesticiding cats. very scary. this is horrifying what they do to pets. this must have very bad long term effects on biology of the animal. nobody would convince me otherwise. they are fooling these brainwashed people because some bribed experts get it approved and these corrupt clueless vets make money on it while poisoning pets. wow shocking
OMG! With my cat its a battle every month!
Super easy for my kitten, thank you!
First... invest in a pair of steel mesh elbow gloves...
Meanwhile my cat is being held down howling and Im parting hair and applying the liquid as fast as possible
NOT between shoulder blades! Has to be higher! cats can reach the area between shoulder blades, has to be base of the scull.
That's so true. They are flexible little critters.
Thank You Dr. Chamberlain To Show us How To Apply Revolution Cat Flea Treatment For Cats.
What if because they are struggling you can't tell if you got it on the skin but seems like a good mount got on fur. Should you reapply another one? It doesn't look like she is trying to wipe it off in any case.
I have a feisty cat. In the past there was no way I could do this until one day I decided to try doing it as they were eating. Worked like a charm. Didnt even notice I was there. The key was feeding them later than thier regular time to build up an appetite.
They should include instructions on this damn thing to break the seal. Not one thing telling you how to do that on the package. Pretty piss poor packaging.
Push cap down hard onto tube. Inside of cap is a pin
I put this on today and I didn’t separate the hair with hand I just put the top to her skin on the back of her head and applied. I kinda rubbed it in the skin and hair at the place I applied so I hope that’s not wrong. Can this medicine get stuck in the hair and not absorb properly? Thanks
I must be truly spoiled with a sweet cat bc he just sat there on the floor purring while I put it on him. so lucky
can we just talk about her name
What happens if my cat licks some of the revolution from behind his neck?
Can it be used for dogs?
No
There's a different Revolution formula for dogs.
I think i mistakenly applied more on the hair
Mango 🥭 good boy!! My cat is the same !! 🖤 Thank you for this video
That is one mellow cat!
I have the hardest time seeing the liquid in there. If it weren't for my cat's hair sticking up, I'd think it didn't come out of the applicator thing.
I tried to give a rescue kitten a dose and most of it ended up on his fur because he ran. Does this mean he needs another dose??
Yes, but wait a week in case some of it was absorbed.
What kind of weed did you use to calm that cat?
I think that cat is a stuffed cat! My cat hides from me for about a day after I put it on!
Does it only remove the fleas from the area applied?
No, the treatment is absorbed into the skin, and then within 24 hours will have spread to the entire body. I read the scientific explanation for it and didn't fully understand it lol. Anyway, online it says flea are killed right away, but in my experience and what friends/the vet said, its not immediate and the flea may get a chance to bite the cat, but will die before or shortly thereafter, and won't be able to continue the life cycle
@@jeremyfrank881 thank u so much.
I have an extremely wiggly cat. I wait until he's sleepy or while petting it and I apply it without him noticing it. He does feel the liquid but I immediately distract him with a toy. It's the only way for me.
Either I have a “fake” cat or the cat in this video is “fake”! I just cannot accept the fact that it can be so hard.......
My cats behave for the vet, but not for me. It amazes me every time how docile they become at the vet.
Is this cat on Xanax?
Took my cat for the first time ever to the vet, he is 12 and weighs about 5.5kgs, it required 3 people who could hardly hold him down while collecting his blood samples. I was shocked to see the amount of strength in this little creature.
Yep, I have 2 indoor cats - they start squirming when they see the box..., I have an outdoor cat I am trying to transition to an indoor cat, and if he doesn't, he still needs flea meds and rabie shot - he goes bonkers if I do this. 99%, if not ALL of the medicine goes on the fur, not the skin. I took the 2 indoor cats to the vet's office - a vet tech held the cat and opened the fur while the vet applied the stuff to their skin. Impossible for one person to do. If I had a cat as compliant as the cat in the video - yep, easy peasy..., but I don't
Seriously why is this in my recommended?😂
Thanks for the video. I have a problem however. My cat has short hair and I can't part it. I thought of shaving a groove through the fur between the shoulder blades but this is a former dumpster cat and he can get a little crazy.
How did you cope with parting the fur? I also have a short-haired cat and have been having trouble exposing the skin to apply the solution.
@@Lashovadjs I finally resolved to just place the tip of the applicator on his skin and "plow" through the hair as I applied it. I was told by a pet groomer that this is how she does it and it worked for me. Good luck.
Thank you so much! I really needed to hear how safe it was a few times, I am just absolutely terrified to give flea meds to my cats, I've read too many about over the counter meds killing cats. My vet assured me that it was safe to give this to my babies but I have just been petrified, I tried everything else to get rid of fleas naturally. You've given me the courage to give it a go! Thank you very much for the reassurance. Your bedside manner is beautiful! Blessed be
I completely understand you, I am absolutely terrified to give my cat any kind of flea/parasite medicine. I see so many lawsuits and just horror stories that churn my gut and heart.
Revolution is 100 times better than that cheap stuff that you get at Walmart, etc. I've been using it on all of my cats for years and years. It even gets rid of the earmites my one rescue cat keeps getting, better than the oily stuff my vet made me try.
@@edennis8578 where do you buy it from? I probably can't get a script for it
Don't listen to this lady, we put it between the shoulder blades and our cat started licking it. Place it forward of the shoulder blades.
HEY THATS MY CAT
My cat looks exactly the sameee
Ya gotta sneak up on cat. Whatever you do don't let him/her see the gloves, safety glasses and medication. Two people! Do not do this alone! (unless you've drugged the cat?) Practicing the steps below on any given day other than treatment day may be a very good idea! Person #1 Firm grip on the lower neck and front of shoulders. (If need be use towel to wrap cat in, if extremely unruly) While in this grip use thumbs and or index fingers to separate fur nape of neck. Make sure you see the skin. Person #2 Open medication where cat can't hear the snap sound. Apply medication directly to that area. Try and squeeze out all medication at once, if not. Person #1 needs to keep the firm grip until all is applied. Don't rub, pat medication down until it is all on surface. Release cat to find it's favorite hiding place. Do Not Let cat outdoors till dry. Dispose of all treatment equipment properly. Wash hands immediately. Well that's how we do it, and it works every time! PLEASE paste this info. and use on other sites where need be. My bad, could not paste this to another youtube vid, any ideas?
Oh “mango “ ... much better.
This is my cat “MURDERER”. ... “mangle”!? Lol.
Mango. Like the fruit. Because he's orange, like a mango. 🙄
Welp, i know my cat wont feel safe near me for at least a day or two if I dare do this to him.
It's better than having it get worms from the fleas. Fleas carry worm eggs; I had two cats get tapeworms from fleas.
