I so far haven't seen the Pfalz Dr. 1 at large just as yet. This German triplane has a different structure.
There were quite a few triplane models, but like the Pfalz they were only prototypes.
✈️🛩🛫🛬 This is what my wisecrack never was for The Dukes of Hazard CBS TV series. You wrecked my 4-door sports car you freaking maggot. Do you know just how much it cost to fix just one dent on this car? This TV series depicts wreckless driving.
Gotta really give you props on the cinematography of your videos, not only because by itself is really elaborated and nice looking, but also because it's so complicated to navigate the flight recordings without ending up far from where the action is happening, so respect for your videos!
Thanks.
Viva Albatros ! Certainly my favorite fighter of WWI. I have two 1/48 "Corgi" die cast Albatros on my shelf.
Awesome !
Thanks. Rise of Flight still the best!
Very cool! What flight simulator is this?
IL-2 Flying Circus.
When I was a kid, I got a 1/72 scale model of this plane with These markings....I painted the wings black and the fuselage a pale lavender....So Weird but it actually looked Awesome That was MY contribution to the Flying Circus
I used to make those when I was kid too, a fair while back now. Now I make 1/48th. Cheers.
Always thought ROF looks a little better than Flying Circus.
It looks a lot better.
It's definitely much better. FC is just a bad copy of Rof
@@mitrauz Flying Circus definitely not as good in so many ways.
I think you were shooting down AI. Yawn
Have a good nap dew drop.😿
what game is this
Rise of Flight, a free download. You have to buy the planes you want to fly for $4 or $5.
I love Any episode with the Dr1
Shot down by his own FlaK... and crashed On a German machine gunner 😧
I see they still can't get the "Archie" (anti-aircraft fire) right in this new version of Rise of Flight. German "Archie" burst black. Allied AA shells burst white. "Archie" did NOT fire into the middle of dogfights, and the amount of anti-aircraft bursts shown in that clip would do justice to a WW2 daylight mission over the Ruhr Valley. Far too excessive for WW1. Direct hits from "Archie" were very, very rare. Yet they happen in this game and in RoF far too often. And "Archie" did not fire at low level aircraft either, as prediction was too difficult. Low level aircraft targets were left to machine guns on the ground, which were far deadlier than anti-aircraft guns. It's a shame that the designers stuck with the unhistorical use of AA fire. It does tend to show a lack of historical research, which kinda makes the software more of a game than a true WW1 flight sim.
The map around that area was solid blue with MG and AA guns they were so thick on the ground. The developers don't listen to the customers about these sort of problems. Archie being too accurate and firing on friendly planes was supposedly fixed but appears worse now. It's not really worthwhile complaining on the forum as the developers either don't want to know or say there isn't a problem. Historical accuracy like having different coloured shell bursts isn't important to the developers or other inaccuracies either. Flying Circus is at the bottom of priorities for fixes or improvements.
Liebe, Frieden, Freiheit, Glückseligkeit und Wohlstand für alle Menschen
Perhaps it was also the other way around and it was the Allies who discovered that the Germans were not easy to defeat. If we look at the losses and add up the English, French, US, Italy, Russia in front of all these allies the advantage remains with the Germans...and by far
You were making me nervous with some of those steep dives and pull outs in the Nupe! 😂
A beautiful little plane to fly, a lot better than the N17.
@Raben3721 she is a lovely little bird! And her two Lewis guns are formidable talons!
Игру тише, а музыка громче можно? 😊
Nice! Bit more boom and zoom and a bit less going round in little circles though!
the sudden cut offs are kind of dramatic, cutting straight to the flag, but I'd also like to see the landings
I had the plane flying over the town instead of the landing for a bit of a change.
Great vid
Thanks.
I now think about the logo the Russians used to possess.
Hammer and sickle? I don't see that.
Have you ever tried head tracking before?
I've got TrackIR but it needs to be reset so I haven't used it much. I'll have to get going again. It would be good for Flanders Fields.
It's acrobatic to be a F.E.2 machine gunner.
Especially when the plane flips over and they somehow manage to not fall out!
@@Raben3721 I think they have shoes glued to the fuselage. 😄
@@jerrymail Either that or boots nailed down! 😆
Was that Herr Bruno Stachschel(? ) piloting that DVIII?
No not Herr Stachel if it was he probably would have crashed!
another good video.
Thanks.
Nicely done videos, you earned a sub. Have you always been into flight Sims? Do you use a HOTAS and stuff like that? Just curious on the gear people use and to know their relationship with this nice genre, no intention on being rude or too inquisitive.
Thanks. I've had WW1 flight sims since 2010 and WW2 before that. Now I just do WW1 love that most. HOTAS joystick about the only extras.
suprise suprise, nazzie flying pre nazzie garbage.....hey, you have a great winter this year.
Very cool! The Albatros remains my favorite WW1 aircraft :)
Maybe, but this is a Pfalz Dlll.
@@thegreat_I_am Yeah.
Anther funeral song? 😢
nice
When I watch this, in my head is playing the music of "Red baron II" lol (yes, it is a very long time I didn't play a WWI air combat simulator 😅)
Yeah I played that too.
nice videos
Thanks.
It's not showing a v strut Albatross. This animated First World War simulation is also showing you that our European ancestors were still using steam engine trains back then during those days. Especially if it's 1916. 🚆 🚄 🚆 🇪🇺 👏 😳 😏 😄 😀 🇪🇺
This is Albatros DII no V struts until DIII model. Steam engines were still being used in Germany into the 1970's.
I read in a memoir, (I think it was Mick Mannocks') that the pilots often felt sick due to ingesting the fish oil used to lubricate the engines!
More likely castor oil, but at this stage of WW1 the Germans were using an inferior substitute. I read that the castor oil used to lubricate rotary engines often gave pilots the runs.
This is definitely night war. Since I'm definitely having a hard time seeing the enemy in flight. ✈️ 😒 😕 🙃 😪 😑 ✈️
It's supposed to be dawn. If I flew this again I'd fly around until the sun came up. Hard to see what I was firing at.
@Raben3721 I meant it looks dark. It's a dark morning, just no doubt. 🌄 🌅 🌄
Definitely hard to kill.
Hey P if you're able to put mouse aim like WT into this ?
Yeah, but it's better and more realistic with a joystick.
@@Raben3721 more realistic
There were even monoplanes that was used during the First World War. Such as the Fokker DVIII.
ROF still looks better than FC
Yeah it does look better and a lot easier on your PC.
It's a misfortune that the Red Baron ride no longer exists in the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Great video, congratulations, I'm checking out your videos here in Brazil.
Thanks.
Good flying
on what server it was captured?
It's not on a server, single player mission.
those flimsy early war planes are the most fun
That's for sure. The only planes!
Alley Oop will never beat Richthofen. Even if he tried.
Even though this simulation video doesn't play the Monkees Shorty Blackwell.
I just like the sound of the music. It still has me make fun of Craig Ferguson sobbing like the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes male cartoon barnyard hunting dog named Jack.
I'm still impressed.
Someone forgot to take the pin lock out of the aileron. Surprised he didn't crash. "Remove Before Flight!"
😂 Flight leader marker!
@@PercyPruneMHDOIFandBars lol! Thanks! 😅
