Thank you, and you're right, i will make another one and i'm gonna try to use 3 types of fiberglass to strengthen it and maybe cut ABS plastic sheet and add to the bottom for more protection, but well one way or another one day they're gonna break, i just have to drive carefully so it lasts longer.

I used the plastic base from the original spoiler and i adapted it to the fiberglass spoiler as a reinforcement, sorry i didn't record that part, that was my mistake.

Yeah, the tape prevents the styrofoam from melting

@chiquitademivida well, that's what I've experienced, but have been seeing guys put resin right on top of that spray foam and it appears to not melt it. I personally haven't tried it on spray foam though. I dont see how it wouldn't melt it as well.

​@@jdubcbr600 i think the spray foam is stronger than this type of material that i'm using, this styrofoam can melt easily than the spray foam.

@chiquitademivida thanks for the input, I'm gonna find out here pretty quick. I don't feel like spending $800 on a front bumper I'm gonna have to cut and do body work on anyway.

Styrofoam, fiberglass, fiberglass resin, bondo body filler, paint brush, masking tape and hot glue gun, only use this materials if you wanna make a mold, ( white gelcoat no wax, pva mold release agent and mold release paste wax )

Don't let the hot glue gun gets very hot, discconect the hot glue gun when you don't need it so it can stay warm, because if the hot glue gun is very hot, the glue is just gonna melt the styrofoam, try that and see if it works, rn i'm working on the side skirts and i'm using the same method and works just fine for me.

It holds very good weight, idk exactly how much but i would say about 25 pounds, i can put any heavy tools in each side and holds very good with no problem, and i cut a slit so i can put the bolts to hold everything and also the metal can slide easily, you can watch the full video on my channel for more details

I searched a lot of websides to see if they have something i like for my car but i didn't find anything that i like, so i decided to make my own, rn i'm just starting to make the side skirts so i have more content coming, thank you for commenting i really appreciate it.

It helps to prevent the fiberglass resin from sticking to the plastic

This is just to get an idea of what it looks like, but is going to be painted with a better primer before i actually paint the car

@chiquitademivida Yes, it looks very good, and you did it as a lip kit for this car, so you definitely can make money out of it. Previously, i did lips for my car and had carbon kevlar cloth from different projects and decided to use it as a backing like last layer for fiber glas parts because it's more flexible and this made the lip a lot stronger. It still cracks if you hit it, but it doesn't fall apart like a typical fiberglass way.
