@@chasecook6073 I mean the characters in BF2042 look pretty solider like I didn’t have a problem with that I just don’t like the whole skins thing. I really like BF5, again that game was fun and people didn’t give it enough credit.

@@Litzann on a level of the “whole” with the game no I would not say the game is good. However, from a gameplay perspective I’ll still defend it in that it’s a lot of fun.

They are only in lobbies that just started and aren’t fully populated yet. It’s very weird that bots is what you’re mad about when it comes to 2042..

@@carlsmith4568 idk it just ruined the Star Wars battlefront games because no competitive player wants to waste their time shooting ai in a multiplayer game for the sake of "immersion" or whatever- I remember it being bad in the 2042 beta too

@@OrionInSpace Yeah like i said, it's mp was a lesser version of BO3 imo, and i personally hate zombies mode. That said, i agree with ya - the campaign was excellent

@@MarvinDigi great way to put it! It does make you feel a lot more than other stories. Had you played the other older games before this?

@@OrionInSpace I've played COD 1, MW1, MW3, a bit of Black Ops 1, I'm replaying Ghosts and I want to replay Advance Warfare too, aside from those "Oh what a cool dude" moments I hardly remember anything from those campaigns, except AW because Kevin Spacey killed it and the exo gameplay was fascinating to me. I usually jump into the COD campaigns expecting some explosions, nice shooting and the satisfaction of killing the bad guy, Infinite Warfare was very different, it felt like it had a soul, it had a message of unity and sacrifice that didn't feel like the older games, this one felt genuine

@@MarvinDigi yeah those are also good points as well the older games were more steep in the bombastic and non-realistic expectations of combat and gameplay, as opposed to really telling like a linear and emotional story

@@goodchap4537 I mean, I don’t know if I read it that way with how that whole process went down. I just think that Activision was so stuck up on making more MW that they just had all studios work on it. Treyarch helped with it too.

@@9k111 yeah I appreciate you reminding me of some of the things I missed that I had no idea about. I was told by a few people and those are honest mistakes. My thoughts on the Halo franchise under 343 are not too far off from yours, although I have a slightly different view on one thing. I still defend some of those games like H4, H5 and Infinite under the idea that they’re still very fun games. I enjoy playing those ones but overall they definitely failed in the areas that they should not have failed in. So that’s where I agree with you on that.

@@OrionInSpaceI'm sorry if it seemed like I was forcing my opinions on you (like some others did in the comments), I wasn't going for that. I don't think Halo 4 5 and infinite are bad games, there is definitely fun to be had there and I did play them. In my opinion they're not bad games, they're just bad Halo games, That's only my opinion of course.

@@9k111 hey no, it’s all good. You weren’t forcing your opinion! And ya I sort of see what you are saying about the idea of them not being good Halo games. I mean you look at Infinite and it was missing so many of the fundamentals of what makes a Halo game a Halo game at launch. There was no forge, no split screen, campaign co-op, a decent progression system that wasn’t battle pass based and also missing some key game modes. Along with the fact that given previous installments, it should’ve had a third mode like Warzone and Warzone firefight in H5. That’s why H5 is my most played halo game multiplayer wise because of Warzone.

@@AnonymousCOD2024 if you really think about it though there is a hint of truth to what you’re saying. I was there back in the day for those years. Obviously, everybody knows the most famous example of it. All was when infinite warfare was revealed to be the most futuristic cod that we’ve ever gotten. People did not want change and they feared it just like how even in today’s day and age people fear anytime something different comes about. I know most of that feeling can come from the fact that the games we get now are just not that good within the franchise but at the same time I still will defend those games even though like you said not everything was good, but they did something that felt unique. Now we just get 3 new MW games and act like that should be a good thing.

@@FLAgaming hey thanks man! And ya I heard about that. What’s funny is that it’s insanely hard to find gameplay of that online. There are videos, but given that it was in such a unique format back in the day that’s probably a reason why it’s not on MCC which is unfortunate.

@@KynixYT I think an alternate history World War I game could be interesting although I’m not sure if that’s something I want to see. It’s bad enough that people hated Vanguard did that and so It could be something to consider, but I’m not sure how much I would put weight into it.

@@OrionInSpace All good. Few things were not 100% accurate, but it's to be expected. Even us who have been with Halo since the beginning tend to forget things lol

@@ChazoreAllure I mean, I guess I have to give credit or credit is due at the least to where I’m glad they added in the terminals to the new version because I think it adds so much lore to the universe of Halo. Halo is one of the all-time great franchises when it comes to that stuff.

@@OrionInSpace Because 343 is incompetent. They actually *did* have Arbiter show up in Halo 5, but only in his capacity as the leader of the Elite homeworld. Didn't even give him the opportunity to see his friend again, which would've been the first time they interacted since Chief was presumed dead at the end of Halo 3.
