Hey Todd, to funny….. yea it has been a while. But to be fare we have put out videos but they have just been cruse videos. Last year we celebrated our 30 year anniversary by going to Europe for a month and it used up all our vacation time for a year. Unfortunately or fortunately we both still hold full time jobs. So PTO time is limited. Anywho we are still here and enjoying life and still passionate at making precision memories. Don’t get me wrong that wine was terrific, but not the end of us. In fact we just brought the trailer home this weekend to de-winterize it from a year and a half ago and get it ready for the first camping trip in a long time. We are so excited, but we do owe an explanation to our camping absenteeism. We will dedicate this weekends video to you personally and all our subscribers. Thank you for caring and following along. @@Safemaker1 I'll admit though, I'm still on the fence with the 22MLE/23LDE.. Con of the 23LDE model is two dump locations, and that it's 3 feet longer... Be well!!

@The1833FarmhouseFerals yea, that was in the running when we were looking. The three cons that caused us to not pick that one was 1) we didn’t like the bathroom in the middle that blocks walk through during use even though there is another o/s door. 2) When the slide is in you loose access to the stove, bathroom, and bedroom. This was a no go for us because of quick overnight Walmart or parking lot sleep overs with the slide in. 3) it was too long to fit in our driveway for upkeep, maintenance, and pre-trip preparations. Otherwise it was one of the top contenders. But you have to make your own choice based on your preference and requirements. Good luck it is a hard choice. What is most important is just getting out there and making those precious moments and memories. Hope to see you guys out there no matter what model. Let your heart be your conscious. Hi Boulder, We pull with a 2020 Ram 1500 Longhorn. The trucks payload capacity limit is between 1700 and 2300 depending on configurations like engine size, type and other equipment options. Mine is 1800 and we are usually around 1400-1500. As for the tow capacity,I think the truck is around 17,000 and our 22MLE comes in around 8000 fully loaded. I hope this helps but I must follow with to be safe you need to do the research for your specific tow vehicle and travel trailer to be accurate. You also need to consider your axle ratings and your tires. Please be safe and do your due diligence for both your safety and the safety of others on the road. Hi Adrien, we are so glad that our video helped you out. If you want to hear something real funny we went camping last weekend. I was using the phone app to bring in the awning and didn’t realize I was bringing in the slide. I did this twice. Needless to say I knocked the slide out of alignment. The funny part was Virginia and I had to watch our own video to remember how to reset it. We followed our own instructions and fixed it in five minutes. Too funny 😂. Hi Sibuck, sorry for the delay. Yes we tow with a 2020 Ram 1500 and it does just fine. We are within all cargo, axles, and pull capacities. Just barely on the cargo capacity. The truck rates in at 1800lbs on cargo capacity and we come in just around 1500 including us, gear and a full tank of fuel. As for the second question pertaining to cameras, we typically just film with our iPhones 14 pro max unless we are in the water and then we use a GoPro 11 black. Great questions, I hope this helps. Hi DJMark, we do have a 1/2 ton Ram, and we have no issues pulling the trailer. If I had the option I think I would prefer a 3/4, but it was the truck I had.

Thank you so much for watching our videos. I think if I lived in the big mountain regions like Utah or Colorado I would recommend a 3/4 ton. But on the flat plains of Texas and minimal mountains, the 1/2 ton does fine. Thanks again, Tim and Virginia
