I worked in that plant for more than 30 years. It is truly sad to see it going away. The steel making industry was the back bone of our society. Many people made a very good living there with just a basic high school diploma. They educated their children and provided for their families. Those jobs have gone over seas. So sad.

It's beautiful progress for the studebaker that never was. Why not install plasma gasification plant to produce more glass annealized for rest of site repairable buildings. Sell gas. Consume and transform plastic waste.

Love the way the camera comes around buildings to expose more in the back drop.

I went to school there from mid August of 2001 until March of 2002 when my grandparents, and I moved. I HATED every day I spent at that school. I especially hated my 3rd grade teacher Ms. Carol. I was so happy to leave that cesspool!

At 1:33 on the right of the rr tracks is the Grand Trunk Railway passenger station. The daily trains from Chicago to Toronto stopped her in the morning and at 11:00 PM.
