First time ever riding in Colorado. Buddy connected me with the local Mark who showed me some of the trails around Apex Park in Golden. Awesome trail system. On even days this trail is one way and bikes only. Lots of flow and some good chunk. Thanks Mark for the tour! If you enjoyed the video please make sure to leave comments and subscribe! Bursera AKA Bee's Knees at South Mountain in Phoenix, AZ. This video shows the downhill portion from East to West. This trail can be accessed from 19th Ave. trailhead. From there, it is a steep climb up that will really test your endurance. Once you're at the top you get a steep and loose downhill run. Lots of suddenly sharp corners, so make sure to check your speed coming into those! You can a...

East Loop DH - East Loop Swoop and DFY's Mini DH - South Mountain, Phoenix AZ
Просмотров 8485 лет назад
This is one of my favorite little downhill segments to end the day off on. The entire segment on Strava is called DFY's Mini DH which starts off on East Loop Swoop (Pima (Ridge) on Trailforks), and turns onto East Loop DH (simply called 'Connector' on Trailforks) before climbing back up the ridge. One of the funnest flow trails on South Mountain. Fast, lots of rocks to boost off of, a couple de...

Mormon Loop and 32nd St/Devastator - Polygamator Run - South Mountain, Phoenix AZ
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.5 лет назад
One of my favorite runs on South Mountain! Polygamator, which is what the segment is called on Strava, is a run from the Mormon Loop Saddle down to 32nd St AKA Devastator to the bottom. Missed a bit of footage on Mormon Loop because my GoPro randomly decided to stop recording, shrug. 32nd St/Devastator is a gnarly trail. Very steep, loose, and chunky it is a proper downhill trail. Great to make...

Trail 28 - Mingus Mountain, Arizona

This is the 2nd of the 3 trails from our Shuttle day out on Trail 533 at Mingus Mountain! Mingus lies between Prescott Valley and Cottonwood, Arizona. Rated a double black, this trail was probably my favorite of the 3. The top part is the only real double black section with tons of chunk! After you get through the nasty part of the trail it gets significantly smoother and really fast! Watch out...

Great vid. I've hiked this trail dozens of times. Nice to see at high speeds. But why the different POVs? Kinda confusing at first.
If you want something steeper and a little more suicidal, try descending the Devastator Trail (trailhead on the South end of 32nd st). According to the city parks dept, soon to become the Highline Connector Trail. But whatever the name it's one mean mother to hike up (and I never hike down). I do like watching people pushing bikes up it.
Going up Mormon is a beast.
Was the name of this trail changed? I don’t intend to ride it, as it looks a bit gnarly for me, but I can’t find it on trailforks to check it out.
Nope! Still called mormon. Link in the description but here it is quickly for you :) www.trailforks.com/trails/mormon/
Oh I see, it’s that little tail of Mormon that goes NW ish. I thought this was a trail CALLED 24th street.
24th St is a locals name! People call it both :) @@calebsiegler5471
Looks fun!
Today I learned that limestone is calcinated into quicklime (which is used to make mortar) by use of a lime kiln. Oh, and nice riding!
cant hear s$#T! YOU NEED A EXTERNAL MICROPHONE
Love this tutorial- great footage I have had the pleasure of riding w/ Dave- The man is built different!!
It's so easy to overlook this section but it's a ton of fun. Nice vid!
Very great!!!
Took your advice and did pima to morman to national and then cut across down to DC. Fun trail. 2500ft elevation was a knockout but worth it!
Rad! I'm glad you got out and got to enjoy the trails!
Are you able to see a backpacker in time to stop riding this fast? I am also a Cyclist but I would never travel this fast, this could endanger yourself and other users of the trail.
Its incredible the bike didn't fall to pieces at the end like a cartoon
I agree
What did that guy say to you? Did he touch your bike when you rode by
Don't think they really said anything than being surprised. They barely missed my handlebar.
I just wondered. Looked like the guy was trying to grab your bike and told you to get out of there. Been there myself and heard stories of hikers doing that often
@@tapking22 this trail is bikes only on even days and hikers only on odd days, so someone was in the wrong there
where did you park/climb up for this descent?
Pima canyon trailhead. Out and back on mormon loop, or you can climb national and go down mormon loop if you like more of a technical climbing challenger
Looks like some good fun‼️
Looks like some good fun‼️
Well that looks awesome.
Nice video man!!
Thanks bud

Damn nice bud!
When's the Martinez comeback happening? 😎
@@crappypatty Ha damn I should one day man but you too pro for me now I cant keep up 😂
Great video. Such a gnarly trail.
One of my fav vids of yours! Great job. Austin is a savage on a bike, but such a chill guy in person. :)
Looks like a kick ass trail. Thanks for sharing!
Good stuff bro 😎👊🏾
Nice Trail Nice Bike, Ride Safe Boss Stay Safe 🤜🤛 NICE VIDEO Im From Philippines
Nice riding! The chunk there looks sick.
Awesome.. I might give it a shot next time. still not confident on my jumping skills.
Sick! 🤙
sickkkkkk
🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 epic!
Sick 🤘😎🤘
Goals 🤘💪
nice ride.
Good video but use cuts rather than dissolves
I've done the top half and it sure doesn't look that smooth, but the bottom half I'm yet to conquer. Absolutely shredded it.
Awesome! All about commitment !
Dig it! 🔥 How long did it take you to clean the waterfall? Not in the video, just from the 1st time checking it out.
I'm in my first year of MTB and I just cleaned it for the first time last Sunday, which was my 3rd time on National. Nutted hard on my back tire the first attempt and then got it 2nd try. The line on the far left taken in this video is a smoother option than the line I took slightly to the right but both lines are cool. Check out my latest upload if you want to see it done by an avg. Joe. Might give you the confidence to send it on your next Natty mission.
@@yomp_mtb Hell yeah! I appreciate the feedback bro. I've been on natty twice and need to build a little confidence with this one. It's purely mental at this point. But its hard to get passed it. Dropped a sub on your channel. Good content! 🤙
It took me a good bit to build up the courage to do it! It’s one of those things where it is more bark than bite for sure. Once you get over that initial fear and commit, you do it and you’re like “really?!” Haha. Hit me up sometime and let’s go session it! I’ll be glad to help!
@@crappypatty Right on. I can relate, just get a mental block with this one. I would be too down to go out and ride Natty/session the waterfall. I'll be in touch soon. Thanks Pat!
@@candidvision9596 ditto man, I checked out your trip to Sedona. I like how you put that story together and the drone shots were really cool
SICK!!!
Thanks!!
Seriously sick!
Thanks Tyson !!!
Love it.
Nice!
Appreciate it Erick!
Woohoo!!! Badass patty!!!🤘🤙
Thanks!
Yeah buddy! That was awesome!
Thanks bud!
wow thats a lot of rocks.
Dude how fast were you going?!
Do you know what the name of this trail is. And which way it heads towards
Bad Ass!
Great ride, even better endurance. That appeared to be uphill for the most part.
Holy crap, Dave was flying down that trail! Thanks for doing the video. In the future, don't add any music. Thanks
Do you like to climb up the west side of Bursera or climb Gila and take the HAB? Bursera W>E is a blast too, although much shorter. Nice vid!
I like the challenge of climbing up the west side of Bursera! I'll usually climb Gila W>E and take the HAB after and go down Bursera W>E, best of both worlds in one ride!
