Literally one of my most favorite games of all time.

Wow… all the buggy ways you could kill him with your guns and throwables just might explain why they were later disabled in the Definitive Edition. But then again, they could’ve just reprogrammed him to not be so bullet spongey lol

I watched him kill himself, it was definitely one of the better options, it helped keep the tension into the next scenes. That chair glitch happening every single time you shoot him would have fully taken me out of the immersion.

Playing this for the first time in 2024, this game is actually a pretty decent open world game. I got my money out of it, and I could definitely see myself replaying it down the road.

On my first PC playthrough near the end, I lost all my progress because the game crashed and the save got "corrupted". I started a new game and finally completed it, I had to do multiple backups after getting each district, needless to say it was a pain in the ass.

I waited too long and he killed himself so this satisfies that feeling thank you

In terms of visceral, unhinged revenge I like either letting sal off himself or the one where you stab him in the leg then throw him out the window. This is why: 1. If sal does it himself you just stand there scowling at him. Both of you know Lincoln is in full control and COULD end him when he wants to but watching a man as evil as sal be stripped down to that where Lincoln’s mere presence is intimidating him enough for him to do that is just like an extra power move. Lincoln won without moving a muscle 2. If you stab him in the leg THEN throw him out, unlike the ones from the front and behind, when you throw him out, he’s still alive so he’s feeling every inch of fear as he plummets fully knowing his death is going to be a messy one. Where in the other two, he’s already an inanimate corpse by the time his body flies out the window I know I sound psychotic but man this game REALLYYYY made revenge taste soooo sweet 😂

I remember when I first got here. I was finishing up my fast food and I was reaching in my bag to grab a fry that legit fell out of my hand so while I was rummaging around w/ the bag. I left the game unpaused so Sal was like fucking do it! So I was like yea Sal, after I find this fry (it was one of the last fries btw) I’ll deal w/ you then I found the fry and as I was putting it in my mouth I went to press X but Sal was like fuck it so he shot himself😂 I then replayed the whole game after I got the ending (took me less than a day b/c I speed ran it) just so I could get them bittersweet moment of killing Sal myself b/c years ago I felt like Sal taking the easy way out was just a cheap cop out for Lincoln but all these years later. It makes sense to me.

This sequence represents the game perfectly. So many cool little ideas with the directional executions, but also hopelessly bogged down with bugs and flaws

The first time i played mafia 3 i did the take down when Lincoln hops over the table and throws sal off of the casino then 5 years later i replayed it again and wanted to wait for sal to finish his dialog but i accidentally threw a grenade at him but he bugged out and flew off the casino but the game told me to kill him 😂
