I just stepped on a toad at night and the skin on his left side is completely gone and his entire guts seen to be hanging out. .somehow he's able to still walk around but I don't see how he can survive. I feel horrible. I should probably put him down but I don't know ...this is awful.

Hello! I just bought a phyllomedusa bicolor a couple months ago. A couple weeks ago he sat too close to his UVB bulb and got sunburnt on the lower half of his back. He has skin discoloration that was dark and now it's looking pinkish/grayish and kind of nasty. I have also been force feeding him and having to move him to his water as he has been lethargic. If I pick him up he wakes up and seems normal crawling around my arm, but as soon as I put him back in his enclosure he/she just goes to sleep and doesn't move. Have you heard of this happening? I know they are supposed to apply their own Sunscreen so I'm not sure why this happened or why he would not move to a different spot. Thank you so much for your help!

Novy is great...genuine dude *commented before watching the video...high ppm/surface are colloidal silver is AMAZING for bacterial & fungal, another thing ive used is running a ground wire directly to their water (Theloderma corticale, Lepidobatrachus laevis). Out of the box thinking is essential in frog husbandry

Dubia roaches do not have a hard exoskeleton, crickets can carry disease without u knowing. I feed mine dubias and they love them and they have more nutrition than a. Cricket

Breading is cruel! all for a profit! They belong in the wild not to show off to ur friends! People need to stop being selfish, just cuz u like how they look! Well if u really call ur self an animal lover respect and leave them where they belong.
We just added 2 juvenile milk frogs to our family. So far so good . We are being feet observant and feeding appropriate sized food. We know they tend to be more “fragile”at this stage & can get stressed so we’ve made a point to keep them in enclosures that they can feel cozy in & wok well for adding crickets! Thanks for this video! :-)
This was a great idea to just put a breeder tank on its side and silicone a piece a plexiglass on the bottom 1/3!! Genius I’ll tell ya!! I think I’m gonna do this!! Only question, how do you keep the screen on the front? Magnet?
