In 99% of instances YOU NEED TO WETSAND Gel-Coat in order to remove scratches and bring back gloss. That is why it’s imperative to take care of your watercraft/rv BEFORE letting it get to this point. This job was just shy of 2K and took us ~13-14 working hours. If we would have wet-sanded it would have been 2-2.5X the cost and took us twice the time. Just to clarify… Although I used 2 separate processes I still wouldn’t call this a true “2-Step” as I did not go all the way with the process. It’s important as Detailers to not always chase perfection as the only thing that matters if your clients being happy with the outcome.
