That incline shaft would be a good one to explore need some harness's and safety gear tie off to a vehicle use the winch someone lower you down and back up.

The "other way" has a hill about one-half mile of baby heads and on an adv bike is tough. Did it on ktm950 and never again.

Buck Horn Road/Creek area is a lot of fun. Some of the areas side trails have been carved up by private land owners.

Best to trust your gut, especially when you are heading that far off the beaten path, nobody would ever find you...

Scott do you know of any cool places where there is abandoned cars to film and photograph? Surprised to see a cop so far out there. I heard they're trying to get a bypass to the resort.

What fantastic country to ride. I've only ridden Castle Hot Springs road...once. The drone over the old ranch (?) was very neat. Drone can bypass the No Trespassing much easier...and safer :). We'll have to get together and have you guide me around when I get down their this winter. A ton more to explore (ride) down there than I thought.

I attempted Alamo Lake Rd heading west from Hwy 93 a bit north of Wickenburg on my Vstrom 650..turned around about 10miles in due to excessive sand for what looked like for miles...much more suited to a smaller dual sport for sure!

West and south of Alamo lake is drone restricted wilderness area but over the lake as well as east and north of the lake is ok for drone use according to the FAA Approved AutoPylot app. If you did happen to be over the lake you were all good. Looked like a really nice ride.

I've camped out here, brought my little xt225 the long stretches of sand washes are a PIA for sure.. Beautiful desolation..in fact you were very close to my spot at the pass..I believe the area is actively cattle ranched, as I saw a lot of cattle and ranchers with equipment and trailers on the roads your on..I'm sure they keep the trails passable for their needs...

Good video. I got back into bikes back in 2012 with a brand new 250L after watching some RUclips I went to conquer the horseshoe dam/Sheeps bridge loop. The only problem is ran it the wrong direction 😂. I had to ride up that sketchy downhill from the river to the bridge. Needless to say I was gsssed by the time I got to the bridge 🤣

I can't wait to get back down there this winter and ride some of the trails from your vids including this one. We've ridden to Alamo Lake before from a different direction and I can see there is a lot more to explore. Thanks so much for posting all the videos and tracks. P.S. My wife and I rode Maggie Canyon a couple of years ago. It was awesome and we found it accidently not being familiar with the area.

You'll only notice the benefits of the upgraded suspension if you are riding it more aggressively. In the part of the video where you are testing it, you guys are riding like grannies. Also, it may not be set up properly for the riders weight
