It is worth noting that this couple has Canadian healthcare. Canada has a ve3ry different -- and some would say better -- healthcare system than the U.S. Recovery conceived of as total abstinence from medication need not be the goal. A basic medication regime for life works for many people.

While veterans Affairs was the only ones who knew I’d been assessed with schizophrenia, all I knew is I needed to work tirelessly to reduce my stress, May 2022 I noticed significant improvements in my ability to think n track tasks, retain n recollect information shortly after I was more easily able to go outside and walk into stores, by January 2023 I was diagnosed with PTSD.

In Israel ,your freedom of speech is restricted. My device has been compromised and my comments are being segregated/erased/edited. Often my comments do not reach the channel I am watching. Sometimes my comments are redirected to an imposter, who tries to make me contact him through Instagram. When I enter RUclips from a different device, I find that most of my comments do not exist, or rather the comments exist only for the device from which they were posted. I don't trust my device anymore, and suspect that all my RUclips experience is a controlled setup. I find it disturbing and annoying. I stopped interacting with the RUclips software in a proper way. I don't thumb, subscribe nor comment. Sorry.

Psychiatry doles out toxic medications. Namely antipsychotics.. usually these drugs make a person worse !! WORSE. !! Everyone should read and study information produced by Dr. Peter Breggin. Author of " Toxic Psychiatry. " antipsychotics are some of the most toxic, poisonous drugs ever given to people... read Breggin.

Schizophrenia is largely caused by trauma. Trauma affects both mind and body. Changing the diet is important. Dealing with the trauma is also very important. Developing a disciplined prayer life also helps. These things - together - (diet, trauma therapy, disciplined prayer) help a person begin to heal. I am living proof that this healing can happen. Just as this man is. God is the Great Healer and He has given us means to heal.

Please look up Dr. Abram Hoffer’s work in treating schizophrenia with high dose Niacin. He cured, yes cured, most of his patients. Read his book Niacin: The Real Story. You have nothing to lose and much to gain by following his protocol. Good luck!

I dislike the way the psychiatric community just automatically assumes that after one psychotic episode, the person will be psychotic for the rest of their lives. For many, after that first episode they realize that the delusional thoughts are delusional, which takes the power away from them. Those beliefs become no longer fixed and technically, no longer fit the definition of a delusion. When you realize that you are experiencing hallucinations and that they are not real and are being created by your own brain, it takes away their power, and you learn to ignore them and cope with them. CBT and DBT and Mindfulness give you skills to unravel delusional thoughts and see them for what they are, and to cope with hallucinations. Those skills are much more helpful than any medications. Once a person has insight, schizophrenia can be managed without medications.

You’ve both been through so much I can relate to the lack of polish on your past battles over everything. It’s difficult to put it in perspective the best and brightest way since life was very hard to go through especially being asked to rehash everything on camera. I learned recently in my own case to give positive feedback same with counselors and physiatrists. I’m on Caplyta with my Intermentant fish and veggies and this reminds me that our gut has a brain too. So, we need to cleanse our two brains everyday as much as we can. DE food grade is less than $10 a year and is good in lemon concentration water every day for clean blood, organs and gut health. Beginning any form of walking is so healthy and will improve energy as well as good sleep along with melatonin before bed. These are my beginning steps before I’ll afford a Dr.who’ll heal the schizophrenia completely. You are an inspiration and a strong hope to many who have been diagnosed. Always give a little to get a little and keep on reaching success.
