Hi there, i need your support to help me upgrade my okuma simulturn 300 from win XP to Win 10. Can you help
Had a great time as always, thank you!
Excelente Informacion y aplicacion del monitor de Entradas y salidas I/O monitor.
Mr. Hochecker, thanks for your presentation skills which are second to none. Clear, concise and unambiguous. I am glad we have Hypermill also for turning (which I am in the process of learning) as well as post processors for our Okumas, although I also have to learn how to operate them physically.
Definitely should do a proper video on tool setting and the basics of machine axes and values. There's quite a few of them out there on YT buy none are doing a thorough job on the basics IMO. I am currently trying to get a handle on two Okumas at work. Yes we do have all the manuals and I will make sure to read those first. What puzzles me is that the 'machine origins' X en Z are huge numbers, like X 23000 mm and Z 15000 mm, the X number stated as 'X origin' is written down on the machine, it appears to have changed a few time from previous entries probably after crash/ calibration/ service. We do have a tool setting arm on one of the machines but I have been told it is not used.
Hello sir, do you use macro programming??
Good job !😊
more videos
are these videos in series ?
Thats great Thanks alot
Thank is a Schunk mag plate right? How do you like it?
tuyệt vời xem không hiểu mấy
Thank you for this video. I have been promoted to CNC Programmer at my company, and we just purchased 2 new Okuma LB3000EX-II machines. I've been screenshotting slides, for personal reference, to my documents file at work. I am unsure of the legality of anything past that, and I would like to create slides to post at the machines themselves, in order to help the operators. If I can be emailed that information, and what I would need to do, in order to not break any copyright laws, or any such thing, that would be great!
shoot us an e-mail to info@hartwiginc.com!
I need this slide

Sir please upload this vodeo in hindi language
Even this is old but i learn alot for running this machine..
Why did u three that way
Regarding load limit per tool, is that available on the OSP300M control for M560v's?
Where can I go to learn how to operate a okuma controlled machine
How do you adjust cutter comp ? IN AOT there's a page for cutter comp that gives 3 options. 1DA 2DB 3DC
hey Kelly if you e-mail us at info@hartwiginc.com I can get you in contact with one of our application engineers
@@HartwigInc ok thak you
im looking for the software so i can test out programs for errors and crashed before they go out to machine. can you help me get ahold of that software?
hey Matthew shoot us an e-mail to info@hartwiginc.com
hi, can you give a download link for this OSP Operation panel from your pc? make a arhive or something to download. In my country they cant provide me a link to download... I work/own 3 okuma but 0 support from them.
Could you use this AOT on a 4th axis simultaneous milling? could you please do a video of that? thanks?
Sir I want to job Vmc milling okuma control
Couldnt help but thing at 7:08 what the heck are they machining lol.
What an amazing program. We, being Gosiger, implemented something similar at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon. It’s always a pleasure walking into the manufacturing training facility to see students of all ages and backgrounds excited to learn on cutting edge technology
Great video
I'm late to the party, and have learned so much from this video. Ironically, I've been considering DMG MORI and other popular brands for a new mill/turn, yet never knew anything about Okuma. The control is the heart of the machine. There are millions of people who do not know anything about the Okuma advantages.
I’ve operated primarily mori’s most of my short career, just now getting introduced to fadals and okumas. Definitely different, Mazaks are a little different too, Haas has its own thing. I like Mori but it’s probably bc that’s what I grew up on
How do you set the y axis
As an engineer, I think this video is very good. Let's talk about it
is there any option for automatic corner rounding on Okuma mills?
Hello, I see on video perfect smooth movement when u machining. In our company we bought OKUMA MU 4000V and we have problem with smooth movement. Is any parametr or something what make my movement smooth ? Thank you for answer
I am a college student trying to crunch out a few codes for finals. This video helped me so much with understanding Okuma cycles and programs, as I knew nothing on how this code system worked until yesterday. I have actual faith I might pass. Thanks!
hope you passed?
Thanks for your video. it help me alot. I have a question. my okuma Genos L3000e does not read G85, G74. and get alarm on G2 and G3 (alarm says "DATA WORD CIRCULAR..." Can you please help to solve the problem?
Can you get the conversational program on a desktop or a program simulator for Okuma on the desktop? I want to check programs in the office before I take the machine out of cycle on the shop floor. I hate stopping production to check a program.
Hey Ryan- one of application engineers can help you with this as this is offered, but I'd need your info first. You can e-mail info@hartwiginc.com and I'll get it over to one of our engineers.
@@HartwigInc thank you for the reply sir. That's great it's something you offer!
Love the machine, hate the control. It takes more keystrokes to do the same thing as other controls, thus introducing the possibility of error.
hi Ricky, for boring cycle I think we should use G41 instead of 42, right?
Typically, when going in the Z negative direction (ex. feeding from Z0 to Z-1), G42 is for turning and G41 is for boring. It's more complicated than that but that's the rule of thumb I use. If you're ever unsure, simulate or dry run the cut and watch the numbers to see if the X and Z values don't go far off from what you're expecting. As getting them wrong can cause an oversize or undersize of 0.1" or more!
THE Thank you great info
Thanks for sharing the information about the WTO broaching unit
Great video.
Great video.
I am working on a very old OKUMA Milling machine with OSP5000G-M. If I have to program a series of holes that are at the same distance from each other in a row what will be the format of the canned cycle if I don't want to mention all the coordinates one by one?
hello, can you please e-mail info@hartwiginc.com and I'll get this question to one of our Application Engineers? Thanks!
I did
Very awesome
This was recommended to me and I've never watched anything like it before, but I watched the whole thing. Good shit, Okuma.
43:30 Why there is G42 command instead of G41? In that boring operation tool is on left side of programmed contour
Все верно, тоже заметил эту ошибку
35:21 .......so G40 cancels also the before called T010101 X and Z length comp, not even the noseradicompensation, right ?!
13:02 ...... the F value has 2 deltas ....does it set what i desire, the designatet feedrade for this cornerrounding ?!
27:55 ...dont you a have machine status variable that you better could call up at this point to replace that X-.whatever , with maybe X-[#9494*2] ????? in this way you cant never goof, infact u loose cylce time if predrilled
Had a great time their. Picked up a lot of information. Highly recommended Hartwig.
Thanks for coming!
