As another tip to avoid being scammed for in-person market events, if the location is in a business/in the parking lot of a business, I have contacted the business directly to check the validity before.

Do your silicone beakers absorb the fragrance oil? Mine do, I wipe out, use hot water & soap and then spray with alcohol and still they carry a scent.

Former New Yorker now CT we have nothingggg close for suppliers 😅 the shipping at times costs more than the product total 😅 I keep my tart wax in the soy lite and my soy 10 in the To Auto which I love it’s very on point with temp, and another for my beeswax. Thank you for sharing! P.S. I actually found a drip free pitcher on Amazon, it’s a bit smaller but it’s a game changer. Again thank you for sharing 🥰

Hi so I’m very passionate about wanting to start making candles, I mean I have made a good bit but have only given out to family and friends and they all love them and always say how I have really good talent and how my candles look so real bc I make dessert candles and grubby candles and I pour my own mold for my pillar making my grubby candles and I then just make my soy candles and I also do my wooden crafts and would love to just add my candles in with my crafts. I’m like u love working with my hands it’s so relaxing to me and really helps with my mental help when I’m having made day I go to my crafts. So I know I had my grandson football league tell me they would use my candles for in fundraiser next year if I could get enough made and some of the ones I want to sell pictures to him which not a problem and figure I could do the flea markets and our big Belleville sell every Wednesday but was wondering about the Shopify I have tried on Etsy with my wooden crafts and it’s like my stuff just don’t get seen bc I’m not ranked so was wonder if Shopify was any better?. Sorry for my stories for I also like telling stories I take after my father lol

I'd definitely love to see more candle making videos! I think it would be super helpful to see how you do a formula for a candle that has multiple scents vs just one. Also, how strong are fragrance oils in their 'natural' state? I love candles but I usually can't buy them because they smell too strong. It is part of why I'd like to learn to make candles. Buying an unscented candle is boring so I don't like that as the solution. I still want it to have scent, I just want it suuuuuper light and not overpowering. And that seems really hard to find. I get headaches really easily from scents, even if they are natural. I am very sensitive. Any - long winded way of saying I am not sure I would be able to be a candle maker if I wouldn't be able to handle being around the fragrance oils.

I don't understand how hot glue keeps the wick in place when it melts with heat, especially when the flame gets closer to the bottom? Thanks!
