Love the vid but no need to roast Fortnite. It’s literally the best battle royale and live service game. I know the bar is absolutely low for that type of game but regardless it’s still the best at it. Beats the absolute dog shit live service games like destiny overwatch siege modern halo, etc etc etc and it gets plenty of updates every week, and whether you like it or not, their collaborations are the best in the industry. I personally love being cracked on Fortnite as master chief and making the kids angry while i duggie. Good vid keep on keeping going.

I still remember that stupid song about how the world's problems would be solved when Halo 3 comes out. Being excited for Halo and Halo actually delivering was a good time. I miss when western games were good.

Small passionate team always beats a mega corporation. A small team can work together to make something that they all care about. But a corporation will only do what on paper would reach the largest audience. But if a product is made for everyone it's made for no one. The passionate people don't want to make a soulless project so they leave or phone it in. The corporate bots do the heavy lifting but without any passion they just produce mid. But audiences know earnest and they know lies.

Halo 4 is great imo, but 5 is inexcusable

I never get the pattern of: take established IP, make a half-baked game, monetise it as much as possible, say future updates will add to/fix the game, updates take ages, player retention dips massively and then the company is shocked at the result.

I’m old enough to remember the release of halo combat evolved. The hype that came with 2 in middle school. And the sheer awe of 3 in high school. I’m glad I can still play these games to this day. Along with others like black ops 1 and world at war. Better games from a better era. No longer to return.

for all of us faults, and there's an absolute fuck ton of faults, halo 5 actually had a pretty decent pvp arena. it definitely wasn't anything like other halo games, but if u just pretended u were playing some pvp arena shooter, it had some pretty good gameplay

As usual, i will protect halo 5: as of halo campaign, they tried to make something least complex than 4, they change some design to make the overall better than 4, the campaign made better gameplay than 4, the multiplayer on the other hand, add ALL weapon WE can imagine, warzone firefight is a lot more innovative than the 4th multiplayer, the movement has been a lot more fun overall, so much possibility with it, even me when i was bad was winnable, and i was not as serious in game than now (i join a semi-pro team on call of duty 2019 for exemple ) the game got incredible forge, the customisation was made to has every spartan possible, halo 5 has a modern gameplay, a really cool one, for halo 2, 3, i hate the multiplayer, it's so boring for me, just walk and shoot, i starter with halo 3 and multiplayer was something i just hate, halo reach was a lot better for multiplayer, it was fun, for the publicity guardians are in game and are important. For halo infinite it's more the follow of the game by 343 that is bad as hell, when it started i was hyped, sad for the shotgun but happy to have a multiplayer game almost as good as the 5 guardians one. Sadly the content After was absolutely not enough, not enough content for the time the game has been here, only one weapon, really ???? I might get bashed for this but i never played any Halo games from 360 on foward since I've always been a PS gamer. This video hyped my up to get a 360 with Halo games though i know multiplayer is gone.

I used to be a dedicated Xbox fan because of Halo. I'm 25 years old, and Halo CE was the first video game I ever played. Its music and story immersed me completely, becoming my obsession for most of my life. I know the names of all the species of aliens in Halo! From the Sangheili (Elites) to the Kig-Yar (Jackals), the Unggoy (Grunts), and even the Lekgolo (Hunters), it's all part of the rich lore that made Halo so captivating. I played every Halo from CE to Infinite. However, after Reach, every game felt like a flop. I was super excited for Halo 4 and even asked my parents to get me the Xbox 360 Halo 4 Edition for Christmas. I played it to death, but it wasn't as complete as Reach-it felt different. So much was missing: multiplayer game modes, the art style was completely different and felt like a different universe, the rank systems and loadout system were reminiscent of Black Ops II, and the story was disappointing. Then came another flop, Halo 5, with its subpar multiplayer and loot boxes, and a story that was forgettable. Halo 4 had at least decent gunplay, but Halo 5 felt like a Chinese knockoff of Destiny mixed with Black Ops III. They tried to reset with Halo Infinite, promising to return to the classic art style, add split-screen, and do everything right. But they failed by releasing Halo: The Store Beta with only two game modes and 10 skin packs, each costing $10. Microsoft messed up by giving Halo to 343 Industries, and now they are about to press the reset button again. Rebranding to Halo Studios won't undo their mistakes. They created the Halo TV show and sold Master Chief like a cheap commodity. They killed our nostalgia and dreams, misused the mantle of responsibility, and are not worthy. Halo Studios is a joke and doesn't deserve our attention or money. Their constant missteps and inability to understand what made Halo great in the first place have driven away loyal fans. The franchise has become a shadow of its former self under their management. I bought a PS5 against all my friends' wishes, being an Xbox fan through and through. But I saw a trailer that inspired hope in my heart, and that trailer was for Helldivers II. It had a different name but carried the same spirit Halo once did, so I had to try it. I haven't touched my Xbox since Helldivers II was released. Xbox increased the Game Pass subscription fee and keeps releasing mediocre games. I don't feel they deserve my money, and with how they're handling consoles, it doesn't seem like my money would be well invested in an Xbox either. Helldivers II is available on PS5 and PC. It's made by developers who actively communicate with the community through Discord, accept their mistakes, and give back to the community. They are real players making a fun game that is worth every penny. Helldivers II is an adrenaline rush! The cooperative gameplay, intense battles against hordes of enemies, and the use of powerful Stratagems make every mission an exciting challenge. The game's humor and unique blend of strategy and chaos keep things fresh and entertaining. Plus, Arrowhead Studios has gone above and beyond for their fans. They've incorporated fan-created lore into the game, held engaging Twitch events, and even received a life-sized statue from Sony to celebrate their achievements. Funny part of 343 is that they wasted time and money creating an engine for future Halo games. Then they hire contractors that barely have enough time to understand the engine.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on your opinion Halo 4's soundtrack. While it's unfortunate that we didn't get Marty to help with the audio, Neil has a style of his own that I genuinely enjoyed. I would also like to add that Bungie's Halo music is an anomaly that would be difficult to recreate without straight up plagiarism.

I got the MCC recently because I was a PS2/3 kid and had never played Halo before. For $9 on sale I can say I got quite a bargain and I see what all the hype was about back in the day. It's a shame I never got to experience it.

Do you really think Halo Infinite is worthless? The multiplayer is solid and fun, sure the launch had very little multiplayer content and no coop lol (for what I know the consequences of using a propietary engine + contractors). But the campaign missions are good and fun, the story and mistery of Zeta Halo is actually interesting and the open world is not that good but at least it isn't ubisoft bad, halo infinite is way better that h4/h5 and a return to form imo, why so negative?

Haven't watched the video, but just like every variation of this video, I can almost guarantee that Skill based matchmaking isn't mentioned a single time. That is the sole reason CoD sucks now.

I feel like the rebrand is just bs to save face. Too many companies and even gamers themselves are too hyper-focused on graphics these days. Its why games take so absurdly long to make now, and why none of them are fun, because when you blow your entire budget trying to make a game look like a movie, there's no more time or money left to make the game actually fun.
