Each one except for Rose Betty White passed away 1 year after the other that's heartbreaking. I love the Golden Girls it helped get me back in touch and heal with someone who is close and after a long time issue. This and other things like Nintendo games / anime.

“What happens when there’s only one of us left?” The fact that it was Rose that asked, and that not only was Betty the one who wound up being the only one left in real life, but also that Rose asked God to take care of Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia for her was all too painfully prophetic.😞💔

They may have gone after each others throats, made fun of each other and joked about each other, making fun of their families, partners, sex life, appearance, behavior, etc, but deep down, they always cared for and loved each other.

The one with Blanche and George made me cry. When he came back to life, she was confused, terrified and then angry. She even decided to go on another date until Rose told her that she should be lucky that her husband came back to life. Then Blanche gave him a hug and then she woke up and realized it was all a dream.

I said something like that to my family once. What happens when I'm the only one left and you're all gone? My mom said, "then one day you're going to pass away and come home to a full house, where we'll all laugh together over how sad each other's deaths seemed" 😢

some of these video clips weren't even delivered as emotionally sad in the series, but thinking deeply about it and with the kind of music like the one used here, I now realize how heavy the scenes should have been if it weren't a comedy sitcom. it speaks a lot about the brilliance of this show's writers.

Truly Golden.

As funny as the show was when was a teenager, it wasn't until I became an adult and ran through the series again that I truly understood why my parents loved the show. They approached real life topics with a touch of humor and a sprinkling of humanity. Truly, a show that has impacted multiple lives in multiple generations.

This makes me sad 😭

A sad and beautiful tribute. I miss these 4 beautiful ladies. It's 2023, I'm 45 years old and I continue to enjoy reruns of this show almost daily. 🥀

I always loved this show When I stepped foot in to my Grandmas room She always had this show on I used to watch it with her She was the strongest woman I ever knew When Betty White passed away I couldn’t help but just cry for a good minute Almost every night I have this show on because I feel my grandmother right there next to me telling me she will always love me RIP to all the amazing Golden Girls who are together at last again And thank you for giving me the amazing memories I had with my Grandmother.

I’m thinking of him a lot this morning. He’s been gone since 2003. He died on my 25th birthday. Maybe he’s thinking of me from above. I don’t know but I’m really missing him and I must need him here more than I thought. I want to be able to hug him and smell his cologne. Hug him and kiss his cheek and be able to feel that beard he always had. ❤️ I miss you Daddy.
