Man, I’ve listened to this song for years but have never been through this, until today. We broke up today and all of a sudden this song just encapsulates everything I’m feeling.

This was the first song I listened to after me and my coat ever love interest ended our relationship last year. He ended up lying to me about everything he ever told me ever since I first met him when war worked at the same place. He had told me that he would never lie to me because he knew how important honey is to me and he swore he would never lie or hurt me but he ended up lying about every. Single. Thing. He ever told me. The lies weren’t even anything that he skulls have lied about. It was so stupid! He lied about living alone when in reality he lived with his brother. There’s nothing wrong with living with your brother. He lied about how he paid his car of so fast. And just so many other minuscule things! He told me that he lied because he didn’t want people knowing him or knowing who he was or anything about him for some reason. It’s SO STUPID!! He said it killed home every day that he was lying to me but it clearly wasn’t killing him enough for him not to do it in the first place. He said some of the things he lied about was to impress me. But I think he knew I don’t care about those things or about being impressed! I just wanted him.

This is my favorite song from this musical. I love how this is the first song that introduces you to the musical so if you have no idea what this musical is about you can still feel all of the emotions without the actual backstory behind it. Brilliant!
