2011 Camaro SS with Muffler Delete- HD
Просмотров 30 тыс.10 лет назад
My Camaro with the " Muffler Delete" Mod. I think it sounds great and is a cheap alternative to a much improved sound over stock. The tips are 5" if you were wondering, some say there too big but I think they are nice. It was a warm start by the way. It is winter so there's a lot of condensation. Just put new tires on which is why there's stickers on them. First Rev is to 2 thousand and then th...

I liked the 1973 model with the 455 SD they run really good I mean really fast the best running TA ever 💯💯👍👍😎
Why they don't build cars like this one anymore
Back when they BUILT cars, now they just make them.
I m a buyer if you still have it and want to sell.
4 speed and a/c doesnt get much better than that for an old classic.
I was really looking forward to his charging gauge lmao
look at how simple and clean that engine bay is .. with a big block in it. today's cars have so much junk you have to remove half the engine just to change a spark plug.
back in the early 90's my buddy terry had black TA...smokey version. totally tricked...and man...we would party and drunk as a skunk that mf'r would do a bootleg reverse at 45 mph. always on back roads no traffic late night of course. lol. ah the good 'ol days of general good ol jackassery.
I purchased a used 70 TA in '76. Not as nice as that one! Beautiful!
Very nice mostly original car. Did something happen that required an engine rebuild at 42,000 miles?
I'll be right back...have to go change my britches 🤣
Deeam car. Right there!
It would be in my BUCKET LIST to take a Trans Am for a drive if not owning one! 🥳👍🏾🔥😎🤟🏾🤴🏾
thats a dport
Simply beautiful, nice job of keeping it that way… don’t ever sell it.
Love the functioning Ram Air hood scoop ! 👍
wanna sell it?
Nice car. What cam did you use?
That's fuckin beautiful.
I love this functional ram air!
Did you ever found out what it was?
Bad to the bone,I love the ta cars!!
It;s not a S.D. or H.O.
Beauty ! 70 to 73 are my favourite . Nice!! DO you live near Toronto ???
The 1970 T/A's didn't have trim rings. They were like the 69 GTO Judges in that respect.
Size on those exhausts... hell YEAH baby
Why dont you use the remote start function on the key
I have a 1973 Red/Black 455/4spd and have owned several 2nd generation Firebirds (Formulas and T/As) and I have yet to see the clock work. This is one item I would consider changing even on a restoration project. I'm going to start working on my '73 soon and get it on the road again. I bought it from the original owner back in 1987 after I got out of the service. Fun cars!
73 ? Damn ... that is awesome. They were beasts. I envy you!
Yes ONE was made! GOOGLE : 1970 455 TRANS AM WT5 ! OR GOOGLE : 1970 PONTIAC G.T.O JUDGE 382 OR GOOGLE : 1970 TRANS AM 455 POLICE ENFORCER WT5 THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN F BODY G.T.O JUDGE. BUT you are correct the public could NOT purchase this car!
HA!
2021! Pontiac WT5 (yes you can still Google it ) and ya all still have your panties in a bunch over a little ol F-Body ! G.T.O 382 ! Eats all production alive ! Includes 4 speed with functioning air ram ! LMAO This car smokes the tires just giving it gas on dry pavement ! Keep looking ! I heard a rare blue one was built ! This one only received a common paint 65/65 carousel red ! HA ! Common !
Best musclecar ever this body 70-73 handsdown the best then 77-78
that car was assembled 5 minutes for my home at the Norwood assembly plant Norwood Ohio / Cincinnati they built all F bodies from 67 to 87 90% of all F body production came out of Norwood the other 10% came out of Van Nuys California which really was a s*** plant a 1972 Norwood went on a wildcat strike that lasted 6 months and almost 1200 brand new Camaros transitive and big block Nova's had to be destroyed because they would not meet stringent 1973 requirements the sad day in Norwood and a 1987 strike came back up with corporate and I said this is our chance to pay the Norwood workers back and it closed the plant a 10 Van Nuys produced from 87 and 90 to a hundred percent and 70% of them cars had to be repainted within the first 3 years because of the water based paint would not stay on the bodies the cars were poor piss poor quality Norwood build a better car and Norwood should have been there to close out the run of the Camaro before they moved it to Canada any type of plant build Camaros they're on their last leg and it will happen again they'll transfer to whatever plants getting ready to be shut down a little Bill Camaros and then after the run typically closing down the plant sister history of General Motors Oshawa was the only plant to survive the Camaro is Oshawa assembly!
very interesting
And now sadly the Oshawa plant is closing. I live near Toronto. Interesting what you said about the Van Nuys plant. I never knew that. Thanks! Ill keep that in mind if i ever buy an old T/A. I'll make note of that and look for a Norwood one.
My 88 Firebird was built in Van Nuys, in fact Norwood was closed after the 86 model year. So all F-Body's were built in Van Nuys from 87-92, until that plant was also closed. 4th Gen F's were built in Ste Therese, Quebec, Canada
Very nice. Never had one but always wanted one. This is one of the best looking muscle cars ever. I know a lot of people are into the later 70's look but not me. This generation is the best looking by far. Love the sound, lumpy cam
Rich McQuiggan
My friend Dave L. had SIX 1970 TA’s. This was around 1976. We severely damaged one, he repaired it and repainted it. This was, of course, suburbs of Detroit. I sure miss them.
Tips look good.
What was it
I'm thinking of doing this aswell on my 2012 SS. I am in ancaster ontario. Curious what the cost was for this and if there is a bad drone in cab
what do you mean drone
is there a drone at highways speeds? how obnoxious is it? Im in London Ont with a 2010 RS/SS
No1 understands your comment as it doesn't make sense. That's why no1 has replied
@@bro89174 I don't see what's not to understand. He lives in London, Ontario and is wondering how the drone is on the highway. He owns a Camaro SS with the RS package.
Guy doesn't know what he's talking about, couldn't get a 455 in 70. 73 and 74 were the only years for the SD455
I know this is an old video, but I feel the need to comment anyway, for the sake of the newbies watching this. As Kelly stated, the OP isn't that familiar with his Ponchos. The car has aftermarket aluminium heads, so even "if" the block was a extremely rare 73 455 SD block, the engine isn't, nor is it an HO, or any other Pontiac motor. But it does look like a premo performer. Wonder if there are any videos of this car at the track?
Google : 1970 455 TRANS AM wt5
I ordered my 70 ta with a 455
@@chrisholcombe137 Then you didn't get a TA pal because a 455 wasn't available either a 400 Ram Air III or IV in 70
@@ckelley63 Did they make a Police Enforcer wt5 ? PAL ! Hmmmmmmm What would I Rather have ??? A 1970 Trans Am 400 or a Formula 400 ? Orrrr A One ONLY Hand Built ( in 69) Fisher Body built only for California Freeway Enforcer 455 Super Duty H.E.I ??? Tough decision ? PAL !
not the original shift knob. I have a 1970 trans am numbers matching 4 speed and it came with a white Hurst 4 speed knob from the factory not the t-shape. Nice car though !
you do know these are car sales guys..and not original Pontiac guys.. like U&I
@@victorvondoom2386 If your going to sell specialty cars like this you better do your homework and know what's right and wrong about the car. Any car or any model. Otherwise you end up looking dumb. Plus you can't negotiate a sale from a strong point if you don't know the vehicle. So many of these cars have been put back together with parts from other years and mismatched interiors from other years also. It's hard to find ones that haven't been messed with in one way or another. I bet those wheels aren't even 1970 rims as they didn't have trim rings.
The only pontiacs that had the T shifter was the gto in 1970.
And the 1970 4 speed mustangs and torino's that same year. Love those things
so you still have the mufflers on ? and just took of the resonator correct ? and how much $ for it done
Rogelio Salinas Jr que no sabes leer? LE QUITÓ EL MUFFLER!! No el resonador
You got that backwards, Resonators are still on but the mufflers are off. The Muffler Delete eliminates the mufflers but the resonators stay on. In some states you can actually pass inspections and emissions with just resonators. Fire Fighting vehicles are all exempt from muffler emissions.
does it still have the resonators?
Awesome sound
Yeah!!
That is not the 1970 trans am
Beautiful! Love the Le Mans racing stripes! Best looking steering wheel of all time! Nice job!
Did you find out what the problem was?
incorrect shaker decal, 75s are supposed to have a "400" decal on the shaker, nice car though!
My 03 rsx does the same thing the came lobes are wearing out :/
not necessarily true. It looks like a 75 with maybe a 76 rear bumper. Only 75 had the marker lights inside the front grill.
Remember 0.008 on the intake side and 0.010 on the exhaust side.
Nevermind. Now that i turned the volume up and watched the vid your valve lash wasn't set correctly.
