Hello, I have a KH-680 Brother knitting machine. It has all the parts and tools and is still in the original box. It has never been used and is in mint condition. I'm just wondering if you can tell me a little bit about it?

This really has been a very interesting series. You mentioned you use a specific piece of software (KnitWear?) which isn't available any more/easy to install. Any chance you could make a video on the software? What are your thoughts on Designaknit 9?

Thank you for the great video. I recently got my long gone grandmothers knit master 3500. Its warranty card is dated 1954. Do you know if the latch opening brushes can be replaced? It’s the only thing on the machine that has broken due to age.

I allways wondered how to do that . Thank you . But it is very fiddly! (A circular knitting machine does work better for baby hats ! ) But I do wonder if you have ever made leg warmers which would require some change of the number of stitches to fit well. If you have or could show how to do that another video would be most welcome !

Just excellent. I'm a complete newbie and this series has covered everything I need to get started, and more, thank you Charlie. I'm going to look to see if you've covered the following two questions in any other video, but in case you haven't, one is how to do fairisle and the best machines for it, and the other is: in knitting socks on a flatbed, is it possible to double your main yarn for reinforced heels and toes (or would I have to increase to a thicker gauge yarn and decrease the stitch size)? If you or any other machine knitter here can answer this I'd be grateful. Many thanks!

Is it normal to have to manually knit a few stitches? I'm put off from using my machine as no matter how perfectly i set it up, some stitches just don't knit. Is this just part and parcel of machine knitting?

I have a Knittax/ Knitmaster/ Knitking from 1953, approximately , and -I have just used it for knitting some scarves and some simple things. My problem is that my machine did'nt come with a user manual. I have tried to look at videos so that I might be wiser about different things. Just as the knobs on top of the slider and so on. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

So years ago, I bought a vintage Brother knitting machine, which had just about everything except the manual. I found a really bad version online that was barely legible, but also minimally explained, and I got overwhelmed and it's been on my list of things to do ever since. I am really excited I found your videos, which I see you posted two years ago, which would be two years after I bought my machine. Now I want to give it another go! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing all of this information, it is so very much appreciated! I think I can actually use my machine now!
