Joga de mais o América boy ,kkk
I miss Mortiz and Franz playing for Michigan but love watching them play at Orlando
The Detroit kid ™️
The Bradley Azteca goal easily the best goooooooooooolaso ever the rest excellent but we could debate rankings
Agreed! Thanks so much for watching! Go USA!
The correct answer is jermaine jones who is only in at no.4
That was definitely a hell of a goal! Thanks for watching!
Donovan..... The GOAT....
Thanks for watching! He's definitely the USMNT GOAT!
Now do mexico goals 🤣
There was a magical golden era of American soccer from 2002-2014 where nobody expected much from us and we would consistently overachieve despite the haters. I miss those days
The soccer IQ here is obviously missing. #42 as a team goal in a cup final should be way higher - the difficulty of that combination play against an excellent opponent (because we got shelled later that day), playing out of pressure and making runs into the most dangerous spaces, and particularly seeing and accurately playing the final pass, is something that could only be misunderstood by someone who hasn't played at any reasonable level. Regarding #40: Anyone who has played a lick of soccer knows the difficulty of making 5 full-field lung busting runs in the 90th minute, let alone after perfect 40 yard distribution with perfect height/direction/pace, let alone in a World Cup match where advancement is on the line, let alone in a game that was end to end sprints for the last 20 minutes...and to make all runs precisely to clear out the space for tap in opportunities, as well. Even if the moment is not factored in (which would be a mistake to not consider in what is overall "best", but I digress), the tactical coordination and technical precision of multiple players in this goal carries it well above many of those ranked ahead of it. A shambolic miss to both rank it so low, and to repeatedly admit in the comments that the final touch was the main consideration. My guy. These weren't the best goals ranked. There's no rational consideration for what made one goal better than another in this set. And as much as you'd like to lean on the degree of difficulty in the finishing as a the purported after-the-fact driving consideration, this isn't even a ranking of the highest degree of difficulty goals/finishes. This is certainly a way to get tons of comments to promote your vid (yes, I caved in and responded too, so you win, touché) - but please, for the love of all that is decent about soccer, don't claim that this is any sort of ranking for the US's best goals.
This needs updating
Eric Wynalda's goal vs Switzerland WC '94. Our first World Cup point since the 50's, and our first trip out of the group stage since the very first world cup in 1930 something. And the goal was a freaking banger, literally top left corner.
Yeah, what an incredible goal and moment. Absolutely amazing. Thanks so much for watching!
FIRST 2 GOALS IS CREW LEGENDS!!!! HELL YEAH!!!
Thanks for watching!!!!
I can't believe I remember all of these goals. I must be USA soccer crazy!
That third goal from the 2000 US Cup game looked like the kind of goal the U.S. typically gives up.
Fírmala GIO!! Fírmala!! Goooool!
Wrong team! Lol. That's a bad memory for me. I'm a bigger fan of Borgetti's goal against Italy or Jiménez'shoal against Panama. Or better yet Cuauhtémoc's goal against Belgium in '98 or against Brazil in the Confederations Cup final.
Love it killing the Mexican team yes
VAMOS USA !!!!!
Preki against the powerful Brazil was one of the most exciting goals ever.
Soccer? Don't you mean football?
There are some nice goals considering they are American
Thanks for watching!
Don’t need no hateration, holleration!
Hell of a song. Thanks for watching!
Josh Wolff vs Mexico
I thought about that one but it was really more of a goalkeeping error by Jorge Campos. And pretty lucky for Wolff that Campos knocked it off his back leg and it bounced forwards past Campos. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Even though the USA historically has been mediocre at soccer, i wish i had the opportunity to watch all these generations play… and when the 1st world cup win comes, i hope they’re around to see it and celebrate it. USA USA USA!
Thanks for watching!
Usmnt needs more white people. 2002 team was so smart and poised.
The Preki goal had the best commentary at No. 27 -- Poo-poo-poo-poo-poo ......
Yeah, the commentary for that goal was amazing! Not to mention that he announcer is calling for him to get the ball before they even pass it to him, and then he basically makes the sound effect for him to shoot, and he shoots and buries it. Just awesome!
I think the best time of the national football team of the USA were the early 00s, the generation with Donovan, Reyna, Beasley ,Howard, Cherundolo,...
I know like 8 words in Spanish but I get so hype listening to the Spanish speaking announcers. 😂
Yeah, the Spanish commentary on a few of these goals is amazing! For the one by Preki, you don't really need to know Spanish to figure out what he's saying haha, same for the one by Jones, but the goal by Donovan against Brazil is even better if you understand Spanish! "Se armó el contragolpe! Atacan dos y defienden dos. Pelota para Landon. Puede liquidar el segundo POR ahora. GOLAZO!!! GOLAZO!!!! GOLAZO!!!! Hay días, créeme que hay días, que para escribir una poesía, no hace falta una pluma, sólo se necesita una pelota! GOLAZO! GOLAZO! GOLAZO!!! AZO!! AZO!!! AZO!!" Haha Pablo Ramírez is the best.
Donovan s goal vs Algeria is #40!??!?!?
Great video bro! You should checkout my best USMNT goals video
LMAO The ordering for this list.
Background music 100% not needed
Kevin Andrerson… I’m assuming you are young because to young people the farthest away shots and or bicycle kicks are considered the best goals in your eyes. Landon Donovan’s goal against Algeria is the best of all time . Your number one slot of bradley shouldn’t even be in the top ten. Good thing there wasn’t a exhibition bicycle goal against Turks and Caicos because that would have been number one. Your list needs some serious work
Donovan's goal against Algeria should definitely be top 5
HTF is Bradley’s goal #1 and Donovan’s is #40? Literally every US soccer fan can tell where they were when Donovan scored that goal. The fact that all you have to say is “Donovan goal” and 100 of 100 US Soccer fans knows exactly what you’re talking about (even the ones who weren’t born yet). Bradley’s goal was ultimately meaningless since the US didn’t even qualify for the 2018 WC
Yeah no. Donovan vs. Algeria has to be #1. Honorable mention for Paul Caligiuri's goal vs T&T that put us in the 1990 WC. Also, to the Bradley haters. He was in a fair few of these so sit down.
This was great. Thanks for putting this together. Some great memories here. I hope the upcoming squad can make some more for us.
Thanks so much for watching!!! Glad you enjoyed the video!!!
We need an updated video of this 🙏
Trash
US football history**
Oh no! Anyway
Jesus christ the music in this...
Thanks for watching!
I wish we had a striker like Altidore
Yep, he would make a huge difference on the current team!
7:18 goal from Benny was the best one, insane volley
Yeah, I was at that game behind the goal where he scored that. So amazing. Thanks for watching!
@@kevinanderson6094 lucky!! Hope you watch the US win a World Cup in our lifetime! We’ve come so far
@@barryallen8887 I hope so! I think we will some day. I'm hoping to live another 65 years or more.
@@kevinanderson6094 same here man I’m 22 rn we got this !! We just got to continue to support the sport when I have my kids I’m gonna make them play soccer.
@@barryallen8887 if they have the genes of the Flash they should be talented players!
I remember watching the Calgiuri goal live on TV and I think that, beside being a great strike, put the US into the World Cup for the first time in almost 40 years and made the US a force from that point in.
kinda crazy to realize i watched 75% of these as they happened (on tv, for all but 1 lol)
That's awesome! All of the goals from 2001 and later were goals I saw live on TV or in person (the top 2), but the ones before 2001 were before my time.
This is football ⚽️ not soccer 😒
Ok. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Seeing Landon Donovan at 40 just makes me think this is a compilation and not an actual ranking because that’s top 5 if this is supposed to be a ranking
John brooks at 49 is wildly disrespectful that’s a top 10 goal 100%
A great list. But nothing from the 1995 copa america? Come on Lala's celebration by itself makes his goal against Argentina worthy to be here.
USA owned Mexico under Bruce Arenas coaching only 2 defeats, both on the road
John Brooks at 49?? That goal still gives me chills!! Fun video though!
