Fed the entire village. 😂😂😂 Do you taste the difference with bay halibut vs ocean halibut? Cause I can't taste the difference

@@TugLifeFisherman well… I wish I caught enough bay halibut to taste a difference, almost all my keepers are ocean halibuts. I think I caught less than 5 keepers from SF Bay. I think the ocean halibuts are sweeter when eaten raw “sashimi” but once cooked they both are similar because of seasoning. In tacos the sauces is too strong to tell. I prefer ocean halibuts, bigger, sweeter, and mostly keepers. That’s one happy village, delicious seafood.

@nhiavangfoto Makes sense. I haven't tried sashimi from halibut caught in the bay yet. But cevechi & fried, they both taste the same. Thanks for your input. I know you're a good cook 👍

I've gone through many setups in my years & most don't hold up very long. I'm very impressed with the quality of this particular setup & would recommend it to anyone who asks me.

I concur! I’ve been through 10 Walmart reels already this year. Should of got one of these and save me the headaches 😂

@Fishing247 I had the okuma convector for 2 years & it works great, but started to wear down. Totally feel the difference with the Okuma Coldwater upgrade. Loving the new setup

Thanks, Steve. The regulations are really whacky this year, so be cautious when you go for rockfish. We fished 100 ft of water out of Santa Cruz. There are no depth restrictions until October 1st

@@TugLifeFisherman yes, I am eagerly awaiting July 16 when we can start fishing shallow out of half moon bay on the charter boats

My apologies, I must have left that part out. All these ingredients should be added along with all the other spices. I normally add all the Sunny D, 1 stick of butter & the entire bottle of hot sauce. Chicken bouillon & paprika measured at 3 tablespoons each. Hope this helps. Enjoy 😉
