THIS IS A GAME!!!

I really miss the long tracks of dirt 1.... almost EIGHT MINUTES of driving. That was my main disappointment with dirt 2 and 3. Really miss em :/

The cars stick too much to the road in Dirt and they brake too fast. Not realistic at all. Still, I love the game. But the normal rally's where easy in Pro mode, and the races too hard. imho

@thnk4urself Yes, obviously its an ignorant statement as i've only played 2 other rally games. Collin McCrae 3 and GT4. The rally in DIRT is far better than those two anyway. I haven't played any other games and i'm not a big racing game fanatic. I'm a casual racing gamer so i'm only interested in arcade racing games. I only played Dirt and Grid for the spectacular crash physics :D. I don't care about simulation, i only play for fun and i use other cars as braking aids :)). Have fun !

@sabel25 I think that nothing beats DIRT as a rally experience. DIRT is the king of all rally games.

is this dirt or dirt 2

but i can say that here the physics of the car are very unreal unlike in dirt 3 where its quite hard to drive since cars slide more,bumps fuck u up etc

@gaz52 I'd like to see you focusing on the physics, rather than the graphics. Also, for sure the graphics have changed and developet, but the focus of RBR is surely realism while DiRT's focus is graphic.

@PowerSlaveAlfons Dirt is more recent and hell, according to wikipedia, RBR runs on a P3 and Win98!!! I'd like to see you try and play Dirt on that!

codemasters' games are such crap lately I am pretty sure they will mess up f1 too

I like to drive using the same viewing feels more real. I hate ariel view its horrible even though you have an advatange as you can see the track and further alot better

There is said to be a new Flight Simulator in fevelopment and i'm pretty sure Colin McRae wouldn't make one anyway. The new Flight Simulator will be kick ass, better than FSX

Dirt is "Overgraphiced", while loosing quality (Too much bloom) RBR's Graphic really ain't bad, and the physics pwn DiRT's.

It's the same as the Corvette C6r in the FIA GT 2008 mod

graphics are least important to me... in the means of realism nothing except real life beats RBR. Realism is my top game criteria.

well you are quite right DIRT is a bit unrealistic but i am quite glad it is because its one of the only Rally Games you can play properly with a Gamepad ( I use the XBOX 360 Gamepad @ PC)

Nice driving... How many times before you mastered it? LOL!!! Dirt sections one has a hard time distinguishing road from hill slopes...

The game has many realistic aspects, but being able to get up the mountain in less than 10 minutes? WAY less than 10 minutes? Not realistic at all...
