Thanks for all the info, but this doesn't apply to me because I'm using all hardware! These are all controller modded ds' and gamecubes! And to answer your question, yes I do still hunt! Life's been super busy right now so I haven't had time to edit anythinf, but I have plenty of backlog fir when I coke back!!

@@kiyoshipoo8369 sheesh I don’t got nothing that rare in my Pokemon collection I need to get some of these old games it won’t be as efficient as the multiple screens but it will be super sweet to do that on one console

​@@jeffdollaz yeah if you are trying for super rare hunt I wouldn't recommend it. these hardcore shiny hunters have like 8 or so consoles to hunt them, you won't do shit with just one.

​@@SuperKamehameha2 Everything I hunt on is on cartridge on a console! shop.insidegadgets.com/ is where you can find out more on setting things up. I capture the ds screens through ds cap cards which you can find at 3dscapture.com

A pokemon up front with the ability illuminate, and white flute! Both increase the chance of finding an encounter!

@@kiyoshipoo8369 its not terrible, but its like a dark blue/ purplish? I swore on my mom it was green when hunting and theni saw one just.. standing there. Considerably darker then the rest. Low and behold, thats the shiny. Black would have been cooler lol

The japanese versions are significantly cheaper than English ones!

I got an authentic Japanese Ruby with a replaced battery on eBay for $30! English copies will be at LEAST 2.5x that price

I use 6ds capture cards and 4 gamecubes that I installed inside gadget mod chips in so I can use 1 controller!

Phases are shiny pokemon you've seen that are not your target

@@kiyoshipoo8369oh my god I know what this means 😭 I thought phases were when you reached 8192 encounters, which counts as 1 phase

cloned saves, as is evident by the fact that the trainer name is too long in the japanese saves where the limit is 5 characters which makes this surskit technically illegal

I use them as my illuminate pokemon to make encounter speed faster

I use to do that to get encounters without much focus, but later found out that running get faster encounters
