This Oil Pastel is "blend"technique,I m using rough watercolor paper for binding oil pastel'pigments,and the tool called Color Shaper is very helpful to makes the blending very smooth
why did you stop showing what colors your using ????? you showed us a few then you just stoped and we have no idea what other colors to use.
You are doing oil pastel on canvas. Oil pastel on canvas consumes more, then how are you doing it or is it less consumed

I’m impressed, very limited colours and very cheap quality pastel, you managed to make it so beautiful 👏
What are the six colors you used?
Nice skin values, the only thing I would do different is not use that black the value difference there is just too much and it stands out a lot. A 50% sepia or a dark green like chromium oxide green to desaturate a dark red would probably balance out the extreme values there.
