Hes going in the 2nd round

My problem with NFL draft is teams will go for broke for a QB just because they have first overall, even though that team isn’t close to being built for a rookie QB to succeed at all. They absolutely need to pick a difference maker like Carter or Travis Hunter. For the sake of their franchise I hope they do, but it’s hard to see them picking a non QB with Levis and Rudolph being the other guys in that room.

Why do we need an edge rusher over a QB, WR, or RT?

Dude you have an offensive minded HC that needs a QB. Will Levis is not his guy. Why would Sam Darnold or Kirk Cousins play for Tennessee? Darnold probably goes to Vegas if he doesn’t stay in Minnesota. Cousins signs with Jets if Rodgers retires or Giants. Cam Ward isn’t a bad QB always doubted to some degree. He finds ways to win games. Sure Miami stumbled at the end of the season losing to GT and Syracuse but it’s not his fault the def gave up 70 combined points in those two regular season losses. Cam Ward is the guy. You all need a QB desperately and you can’t hope to get Dart, Ewers or Howard in the 2nd. Every year we see mid level QBs vault into the first round because of a strong combine or pro-day guarantee it will happen just wait. Also Abdul Carter is a bust waiting to happen. They say he’s 250 but no way he was 250 this year. He looked like at best he was around 235 and you aren’t playing DE at 235 in the NFL. It’s one thing to run around tackles in college but in the pros they will rag doll him. If I were Tennessee I would really be hoping a guy like Mike Green out of Marshall slips to the second round and if he doesn’t you got a plethora of edges to draft Jack Sawyer, Landon Jackson just to name a couple.

Colston Loveland or Tyler Warren. Either of these two players would be perfect for the Jets.

so what your saying is that, he improved in the playoffs from the previous Michigan game? If he corrected his mistakes then that's what you want out of a QB.

you don’t take abdul with one, the value of the one when several teams need a QB and travis hunter is so unicorn makes this years one worth something considering there’s only 13 round one graded players. you can easily get abdul 3 or 4 so make a play with a team that’s desperate for a qb.

Howard is a better bet to succeed in the NFL than a lot of other prospects. He proved himself on the biggest stage, leading the Buckeyes to the Championship. I'm fascinated by the skillset combined with size and agility. He could be another Ryan Tannehill type talent.

Man, you sure like to throw that Michigan game in his face don't you. First, that game plan by the OC was awful. Second, Howard took a shot to the head and neck area early in the game that probably caused a neck injury or concussion, yet he stayed in the game. After that hit, if you go back to view, he seemed a step slow and not sharp. The kid isn't perfect, just a winner.

Shemar Stewart might end up going much higher in the 2025 NFL Draft.

I know there is Dei and all that crap but we know who plays quarterback better we know who is smarter and that is the most important part so go ahead and draft will Howard first if you want to have a better team or you could pick one of those other guys

Howard may have had elite players around him, but down the stretch he played AGAINST elite players as well. Other QBs like Ward and Sanders never played elite teams, let alone 4 in a row. Ward played two ranked teams, #15 Iowa State and #16 Syracuse. They didn't play Clemson. Sanders faced #13 BYU and got hammered. Meanwhile, Howard faced #2 Notre Dame, #3 Oregon, #4 Texas, #5 Penn State, #9 Tennessee, and #10 Indiana.

Chiefs going to pick him up. And go for another Super Bowl. Him and Kobe’s on the d line.

I’ll say this on every post I see now that my algorithm is Draft center; he needs to chill. Saw his film and knew he’d be great alongside Hutchinson. A healthy D-Line interior with those two on the outside would be way too tough.
