    Christianity is the only religion that gives an equalness to all people, based solely on the fact that they are people, because we all share the image of God. There's a difference in authority structures, which varies based on so many things This lady is 100% correct in what she said. Our jobs before God are all significant in their own ways and will have general differences between men, women and children.

    Friends submit to each other by listening and considering their perspectives. Students submit to their teachers, respecting their knowledge to better understand things. In any kind of team, there is a leader in which all the members submit to as leader, fulfilling their role to get the job done. There are many examples of submission and yet when we talk about it in marriage, the world flips out and I think I know why. Many men have abused their position as head of the house and this has caused there to be massive amounts of tension with this topic. Men are called by God to love their wives as they love themselves; to nurture them, provide, protect, care, and hear them. And when they don’t, they will be held accountable.

    The most offensive attitude a Christian can have is unbelief.Israel at the border of promised land entertained defeat and despair so God led them back to the wilderness to die over time.The spiritual posture that receives blessing is trust while circumstances say otherwise.So trust,trust and trust.An unbeliever has no idea of this way of living and moving through trials.

    I think towards the beginning of your video you mentioned you were already engaged when you became a believer (for real) and that you didn't feel right about breaking off the engagement. I think once the marriage is arranged you are considered betrothed and legally bound to your husband before God. If I'm understanding you, I think you did the right thing. Perhaps the Spirit led you in that? Hopefully that encourages you. My husband was a believer years before i was, and i was a new believer when we got married. I prayed for a husband and that God would show me what I need to know about Him. I see now how God was leading me even with my little knowledge of Scripture. Just obey your head and show the beauty of who the Bride of Christ is by obedience and subjecting yourself to the man God put over you, like 1 Peter says.❤❤

      Thank you for your encouragement! I wouldn't anyone to think that they are legally bound to someone just because they are engaged. Yes, now I believe that God has redeemed my situation and I have hope and trust in the Lord! Thank you! :)

      Right, but this is about being unequally yoked regarding saved/unsaved relationships. Even if someone is trying to learn the basics but doesn’t make Christ their Lord- I still wouldn’t recommend being in a relationship until there was a true commitment made.

    It's scary and sad how many people go through with a wedding just because "they were already engaged" when something comes up during this engagement. Breaking off an engagement is NOT a sin or as bad as divorce. Now if the person is truly "in love" and feels like this is their true soul mate, all the power to you! But if something comes up like a difference in religious *beliefs* during an engagement...😬 I don't know, EXTREMELY risky to follow through with it "just because we are already engaged". Engagement means nothing and is not final. I pray it turns out well for you, but I hope and pray people know that breaking off and engagement is OK and might save you TONS of heartache and tears.

      Yeah, I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole video but that's exactly what I'm warning against. It's not "all the power to you" if you think you're with your true soul mate. If they aren't saved, there's your first sign you shouldn't marry. I was a BABY Christian and didn't know what to do nor did I have mature Christians in my life to warn me. But GOD, yet again, redeems and restores where we fail. There are amazing stories including one of a woman who prayed for 40 years for her husband to be saved and he finally was. I hope to be like that one day, but a lot sooner than later.

    • @VMR8648
      @VMR8648 6 дней назад

      I did watch the whole video, you only quickly mentioned that you became a believer shortly after engagement, you did not mention that you had no Christian guidance in this matter. I guess I thought maybe you came from a Christian family and had a Christian background. Even if not, church pastor could have/ should have warned about this if you began attending a church after getting saved. But I'm sure there is more to your story than what you can fit into a video. Sorry I misunderstood.

    • @Shelb13v
      @Shelb13v 5 дней назад

      I think what we call engagement is what the Bible calls betrothed. Breaking off an engagement would call for divorce papers according to the Bible. An example of this is Joseph and Mary. The wedding consummates the marriage. I guess the point is that with an engagement you promised to spend your life with that person at that time and biblically you're held to the commitment. Our culture has very much strayed from basic principles of marriage so we're all confused on how to do things.😓

      @cbebop5 But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband.

    • @cbebop5

      Thanks for responding friend, I think there is a discrepancy in your understanding of the definitions of sanctification vs salvation. In Christianity, salvation is the act of saving a person from sin and its consequences by forgiveness through Christ who died on the cross. While sanctification is the process of continually being transformed into the image of Christ as you mature in the faith. Salvation is a gift that can only be given from God, while sanctification is a journey that requires effort and sacrifice, and maturation in the faith. In the video, she clearly states that she is a Christian, but her husband is still not a believer. He tolerates her faith, but he has not received salvation just by being married to a Christian woman. That's why she prays for him to receive the gift of a repentant heart that turns to Christ and asks for forgiveness of his sins and receives the gift of eternal life and relationship with Christ.

    • @WhensheseeksHim
      @WhensheseeksHim 6 дней назад

      Responding to original comment: If that is the case, then why does it say in ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭“Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.” This verse is implying that if a woman is married to an unbelieving husband, her husband could be one over by her behavior. If he was already saved through their marriage, then there would be no need to try to win him over by her conduct. We are all responsible for our own sin and somebody else’s salvation does not cover another person’s. Man is appointed to die once then comes the judgment. If the salvation of a spouse saved another person, then they could boast that it wasn’t only Christ who saved them, but also their spouse. Also, if that was the case, my husband would love the Lord and he does not. I hope this was helpful. :)

      Hi. I you proclaimed Catholicism, I just wanted to point out that only Christ can save you. There's no things you can do to get salvation. No baptism or confirmation from the Catholic Church. No Papal decree, no prayers to Mary or any saint can save you. Not attending mass or performing any ceremony. Only faith in Christ alone can save you. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. repent of your sins and place your faith in Christ alone. The Gospel is that even though we sinned against the one true, holy God, and deserve His wrath, He sent his son Jesus, to take the punishment we deserved and satisfy the justice of God. He loves his creation and came to redeem us. He was killed on a cross, taking our curse, buried and resurrected on the third day, defeating sin. Anyone that believes in Him will not perish and instead inherit eternal life.

    Hello sister. I heard your testimony and love hearing the faith and journey of those who continue to seek the Almighty. But listen. Don't fall into the trap of comparing your worship of the Lord to a Satanists worship for the Devil. The Devil has already lost so all a Satanist can boast in is his works. But this is pride! Nothing more than ego to compel true believers to do the same. Jesus has relieved his followers from the bondage of works of the old covenant and has saved his disciples by Grace. Of course true faith will have works that boast in the Lord but not for ourselves who would do nothing if we weren't saved and received guidance by his Helper the Holy Spirit. Everyone's works are between them and God and we strive to give our first fruits but not everyone can or will give the same yet we saw the widow with two small coins found favor with Jesus so it is very clear that works cannot save us. This is the good loving King we choose for ourselves and our families. The Satanists must go to their physical place but Christ has told us God is not far away for those who are looking and the Temple is our body. We can worship in spirit and heart wherever we go. Some go every Sunday others cannot or might not for different reasons. I do not think these are cutoff based on such rigid ways. The Satanists thinking is filled with rage pride envy drunk on ego. We let that influence be shaken off our feet like dust. I see your choice I see your love for the Way. Thank you for your prayers and faith. May God continue to bless you as you seek his Infinite love beauty and wisdom. Amen
