    Or you could just check the atis and see what the visibility and ceilings are at the various airports nearby using your radio. But xm radio works also. Did they change the Cirrus wing at some point? I don't see a jog in the leading edge like many of them seem to have.

    If you are getting a “high fuel flow” warning you should reduce the mixture, not the power. If you get a “high MP” warning you should reduce the power. Reducing the power when your fuel flow is above 40 GPH will bring the fuel flow below the warning level but still leaves a really high mixture ratio and can still cause flooded cylinders which was why they put those CAS messages in the N8 update.

    i dont know if ur a real doctor. but when i was younger i ate carbs and couldnt concentrate. wanted to do medicine but no chance due to concentration. Later a car accident and autoimmune stuff eventually led to a carnivore/low carb nutrition. physical and mental cognition transformed. Due to increased focus, starting to learn to fly. saw a dallach db4 yesterday with a chute, retractable gear and high cruise speed. looks gorgeous. but cirrus is lovely if maybe a bit out of my league price wise. • @TheDoctorPilot
      @TheDoctorPilot 5 месяцев назад

      You know, that’s a hard thing the Bonanza was turbo normalized, and had a lot of the same features as a Cirrus SR 22 turbo, but the Cirrus can fly higher and is faster and can carry about 20 gallons more fuel. The Bonanza did hold way more weight and was much better for carrying items but I think the Cirrus is more comfortable all the way around for the pilot and the passengers. Both airframes had ESP protection technology, but the cirrus does have the chute and if you use it properly will save your life regardless. my answer is it always depends on the mission of the pilot that’s what dictates the airplane.

    Great Video, brings up a question Im 71 and I know when the FAA requires me to have O2 but what should the O2 detector you put on your finger read for a 71 year old at say 10000 feet? I'm guessing that number will change with age.

      That number would only change relative to a persons lung capacity age wouldn’t have much to do with it but I think to be safe you would want to be mid 80s or higher.

      Nice congrats beautiful bird. Never flown in one yet. They have the cirrus hub here in Orlando but it’s meant basically for people that own a cirrus or are going to purchase one or just training so it’s not for any pilot to come in to get checked out in one

    I fly out of Springdale in a Comanche and use Brady for my avionics as well, we would hard pressed to find a better shop to work on our avionics and he just an all around good guy, I would definitely recommend him as well. Enjoyed watching your videos in the Bonanza, looking forward to more great videos in the Cirrus... Congrats!
