Fun fact. This server only exists because the owner stole all of the files from Day Z Friends and then had the admins there now message people in the discord to go over. Basically poaching. So when dayz friends closed because of it. They basically then made up a load of shit about the old owner. They're all very problematic. I'd stay away. Look at the guy its the same dude from the film! Of course its credible. Funny how Jim picked a lead actor that resembled him somewhat. I think he captured how this man feels about this woman very well. And it was a true story. I wish he had lived to make more films. His music, as bautiful and wonderful as it was, I think was more of a hobby and a happy (or not) accident. He had a career as a poet and filmmaker ahead of him had he lived. Narcotics suck. Everything was beautiful and then then narcotics came.

What a great story! For people calling this guy a casualty, he is a survivor! Duh! Great to here from someone who knew and remembers him so well. An honest real story from the 1960s! Interestering use of the Incredible String Band. Was not expecting that!

Once it's on you tube, it's not rare. Rare are the 8 and 16 mm films when he visited his relatives in Melbourne and St Petersburg, Florida before he went to California.

Enjoyed this little clip I loved this little clip, I lived on Dudley Avenue in Venice beach and use to walk by the Cadillac hotel every day as it was at the end of my street. Jim use to hang out at the Ellison hotel/ apartments which was at speedway and the next street over.
