Mother Maybelle & The Carter Sisters: "It's My Lazy Day"

Some mighty fine singing and whatnot. That's June singing lead, Anita on the high harmony, Helen singing harmony and playing the accordion, and Mother Maybelle singing and playing the ol' guitar. I don't know who's playing the bass but I'm sure she's a swell gal.

Bass solos are cool. Read Pete's book if you think they were on acid, you dopes.
Very cool. What software did you use?
@@wombat782 I used Ultimate Vocal Remover to isolate the vocal track and Kits AI to make the Entwistle voice over it.
I'm really loving this Trick of the Light mix, and it is a great "what if?" bonus track alongside the wombat782 version of Acid Queen with Pete vocals on the Tommy Soundtrack instrumental.
Is this AI ?
I'm wondering as well. In any case, I dig it as a bonus / alt track.
Yeah I was fooling around with it and this one actually came out pretty good.
Pete Townsend à était le seul musiciens à envoyer sa guitare au public,il est vraiment apart c'est ça un génie
Même sous acide c'est les meilleurs
Una de las grandes Bandas de Rock y favoritas mías.

Yes..... goin back in my mind...
I’m old enough to have seen all the legends, surely most of them. Never saw Jimi and a few others. But of all the big ones, the very best Iv seen live was The Who. A very close second is Deep Purple. Skynard in 1977 was fantastic. KISS in same year, actually scared me. LA Forum. First time dropping LSD, close to stage. When it kicked in Gene scared me so much I ran away into the bathroom. The very biggest disappointment was Led Zeppelin. Again, 1977. What a year for concerts huh? Honorable mention goes to AC/DC, 1979, Oakland. Electrifying show. Angus running around the entire coliseum, while playing, just incredible. The one band I never saw at their peak that could be the best live was Grand Funk Railroad.
♥♥
.I am currently feeling the strong euphoric and relaxing effects of hash. 🌿 It's as if I have reached a level of relaxation and altered consciousness that even the most legendary space wizards would struggle to surpass. I'm so relaxed that I feel like I could challenge a sloth to a slow-motion race and win! I might as well be the guru of giggles and the connoisseur of couch surfing. 🧙♂️🌌
Thank God, I was there. Today I am 76 years old and it is the best memory I have...🥲
nice
I am too, but didn't make it to Woodstock, but was there in spirit and in that plane of 😂existance....
I'm 62, was not there, but thankfully, I have seen the who play live in New Zealand...
Share a bit about it. What day did you arrive and when did you leave?
Bless you indeed- God is good always… His providence and guidance in all of your steps. 🎯🇬🇧🧿🎸🥁🎤✌🏻🕊️☝🏻🪨

First band I saw. 13 years old at the Stevenage Mecca UK
Thunder Fingers. The Ox. Let's hear it for the Bass players.
Also if ya dig this song by The Who on youtube 😀 you may enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RUclips. 😀
