Finally, a clear explanation. It's similar to Pulse Width Modulation. Some manufacturer put on their comressors 100-360VDC and 40-120Hz. I would ask them to draw the graph for me, which would reflect 100VDC 100Hz. How a sine wave could be called a "direct current" or how the straight DC could have any frequency. As soon as DC gets any frequency, it becomes AC.

454b will probably be banned in the future due to the PFAS forever chemicals in the R1234yf part of it. R32 is pure, and doesn’t have forever chemicals in it. Much cheaper too since patents have expired.

I haven’t seen an 18 seer single stage system for one. For two wait till your variable speed motors breakdown out of warranty and see how you like it. Ramping down to 25% capacity is about the lowest I have seen.

Any chance I could use solar directly. 300+ volts isn’t a problem . It’s creating the frequency for speed control. I think it would be awesome to nit get involved with ac current at all .

Hi! As someone with 4 GREE ACs in his household, this is a cool sustainability feature, I'm saving a bunch on batteries. However, as far as my experience with the app goes, only one user at a time can connect his phone/app to the AC unit. Example: User 1 connects to the AC unit 1. User 2 follows the same steps and connects to AC unit 1. -> At this moment, AC1 vanished from User 1's app. If only one individual (and not all) living in a household can control the ACs via the app, it defeats the sustainability purpose. I hope this gets patched in the future. Best of luck!
