    Magnifique ! Un pot-pourri original de ces chansons populaires françaises venues en Nouvelle-France entre Jacques Cartier en 1736 "V'la le bon vent", "le loup, le renard, le lièvre" et d'autres airs assemblés, un bel exemple de fusion originale en contexte américain !

    • @RollingToaster
      @RollingToaster 6 дней назад

      "Boîte" in France is slang for "boîte de nuit" (night box) aka night club. But this is a Québécois traditional song. In Québec "Ferme donc ta boîte" (close your box) is an expression meaning : close your mouth/shut your trap/shut up. "Box" in this context means "mouth" in Québec. Nightclubs are informally just called "clubs" here. We don't say "boîte" for nightclubs like they do in France.
