Thank you for your comment. The adapter I created is not very complete and will need some work after it is output from the 3D printer. Currently, there is an adapter for Osmo Action 4 / 5 Pro called QRS-02-MB3, which I think would be a better choice for you.

Thank you for your comment. I forgot to mention that I use a waterproof case made by DJI. Not using the waterproof case allows me to use the water pressure sensor, but since I often dive deeper than 20m, I always like to use the waterproof case. Enjoy your diving.

Gopro, Osmo Action and Ace Pro are all good choices, but I would recommend the Osmo Action4 to my friends.

I also now use normal color without D-LOG M. And now I can shoot 10-bit. However, I often use a fixed sensor for white balance because the results may not be what I want. @@CosmicBlueWalker under water, you need automatic balance depending on the depth. All really expensive dive cameras have it. If you are not diving deap and are on the same depth almost all the time, it is fine. But you do to 18 or even 40 meters, then it is impossible

It was a long time ago, so I'm a little fuzzy, but I think I used a red filter made by Polarpro for the Gopro 3+. I shaved the frame of the filter so that I could use it. No lights were used.

To attach it to the housing, simply push it in. I shaved off a moderate amount to prevent the filter from coming off underwater.

As you say, normal mode is fine. I used to shoot in LOG at first, but now I shoot in normal mode. Colors are good in normal mode, and noise is also removed well.

Hi.The deeper the water, the more the red color is absorbed, and we wanted to see if using the red filter would bring the color closer to its original state. We also wanted to see if the red filter would be effective when used with Action 4, which has a color temperature sensor.

No, i didn't use any kind of filters, and i think it might have some kind of digital filter or underwater wb built-in, since if you just pull the camera out of water, it will shows some kinds of reddish for few frames, just looks like wearing a real red filter, and then returns to normal color. As for the POV, i think there is a suggetion display on UI, which is better to use "wide" than others when diving, the "ultra wide" will have a huge distortion on the edge. @@CosmicBlueWalker

I am also using it in 'Wide' mode, but I still feel that the periphery of the image is not clear, so I would like to try using it in 'Normal' mode as well. I would also like to try using "Normal" for the color. I'm going diving this weekend, so I'll give it a try.

Hi. The comparison may have been difficult because we tried to compare both cameras with the best image quality, like 10 bit. Next time I would like to compare both in normal color or both in LOG.

Hi. This may be because an LUT has only been applied and no color grading has been done. Also, as mentioned in the subtitle, the last comparison is blurry because the Action4 housing was a bit foggy. I will buy a new Action4 housing in the next week or so and do the comparison at sea, so please wait for that video too.

I think GoPro is just oversharpened. Have a look at 2:10 and 2:18. The DJI looks so much better. The blue glow in the distance of the GoPro footage looks like a video game from twenty years ago. The flickering, the software and temperature shutdowns are also concerning, but not really worth mentioning, since it is a known GoPro thing.
