My first time using the Insta360 X3, took it mountain biking to some local trails for a spin and have a play around - see what mounts/angles worked well and which ones didn't. Excited to use this for future projects.
Was a positive experience learning to use the post production software in order to make this video too.

    Doesnt seem to be 2.4 wall height? 125mm foundation posts? What is the exterior dimensions? Thanks for sharing.

      125mm posts if I recall correctly, the cabin footprint is approximately 3600 x 2400mm

    So cool to see a New Zealand cabin building video. Would this suit a high wind zone? I want to build something like this in Wairarapa

      Was built to code for high wind zone, but in reality there is little wind where this cabin is. If it was in a genuinely windy location, I might have used more bracing and nails in joints.

    You should have had an air gap behind the cladding too - needs to breath or the cladding itself will decay even if nothing else does

      If you watch the earlier videos you’ll see cladding has a 20mm cavity behind it

      I watched from the start sequentially and did recall that as I hit submit. But the door did not. Unusual to DIY the door, but if you do, it needs to be done well. Pretty unique build with pretty minimal tools. I don't love it for a lot of technical and pragmatic reasons but I do admire you getting stuck in and doing it yourself your way. Showing some strong local spirit :-)
