@@VaheII I figured they'd be hard to backstep if not impossible without it! I managed to beat him a couple nights ago, not nearly as clean and it was just NG, but felt pretty good to finish it with a few flasks leftover.

I don't dislike this area at all tbh, the atmosphere is great and the manor is a cool dungeon. But I agree with you, the frenzied flame is my favourite ending in the game and I would've loved an area entirely inspired by its aesthetic and lore. This DLC is incredible for a first one, there's a big chunk of content for every factions in the game, but it definitely lacks focus because of that. I hope the next one (if there's a next one) will expand on one of the endings, a post Age of Stars or Lord of the Frenzied Flame oriented content would be sick. And yes I did finish the DLC before doing my No-Hit boss runs, and everything did a million damage and took forever to kill since I was already in NG+7. Before getting the Scadutree Blessings you might want to buff yourself and plan a good build, it seriously helps a lot. This DLC can be brutal ahah !

No, it's the Raptor of the Mists ash of war. It makes you invulnerable for one attack before teleporting you in the air. Normally you have tu run away for this AoE, but it looked boring so I used this thing.

@@hikkaru9751 I agree, I got him on my 4th attempt before even getting to Messmer, wish he was harder, maybe a mod for it later.

It's possible they didn't censor it out of their own choice, considering what restrictions can be like. Besides, there's been things in previous games that've been censored for good reason, like Oceiros and Ocelotte.

Weapons : Caestus +25 Ash of War : Bloodhound's Step Armor : My powerful muscles Talismans : Blue Dancer Charm, Claw Talisman, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Ritual Sword Talisman My stats were something like 99 STR & 99 DEX, with everything else voluntarily wasted on useless things like Faith, Intel and Arcane to keep my HP, PC and Stamina at a very low value. Ahah ! Je suis bien français même si j'écris en anglais pour rendre ces vidéos disponibles pour le plus grand nombre. Si tu parles du talisman qui augmente l'attaque quand on a une charge d'équipement faible, alors oui ! Il est même équipé durant cette vidéo. En revanche si tu fais mention d'un tout autre équipement je ne pense pas l'avoir déjà obtenu.

Both of them are still pretty viable in my opinion, even in a NG+7 PvE context. The Bloodhound's Step is so good as a defensive option that you can still use those weapons two-handed without being a master at dodge rolling. Of course, spell casting builds, Moonveil or dual light weapons with blood loss are still better, but the Caestus are still more than decent and very fun to use.

​@@garff7557 The Elden Beast is immune to blood loss, this might be the reason. I'll suggest you to get the Bloodhound's Step to dodge most of this boss's bullshit, get a stagger heavy weapon and hammer his face with heavy jump attacks. If you're lucky enough you'll get a poise break, which is huge and can skip one of his most tiresome pattern.

@@VaheII yeah my problem is that I’m running a full arcane and dex build lmao, meaning I can’t use those heavy weapons, I’d have to larvar tear to change

@@garff7557 Well... If you have three or more larvar tear, you could try changing your build just for the final boss. You're not forced to start a NG+ after defeating him, so you'll be able to return to the good old dex/arcane before attempting your new adventure.

Those are the spiked one, some extra bleed against Malenia is always a big plus. I had 99 STR and 99 DEX while wasting my remaining points in some useless stats, that's why my HP, PC and Stamina are so low. With those stats, using a Quality Affinity weapon is a given to get some juicy scaling. My talismans were : Blue Dancer Charm, Claw Talisman, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Ritual Sword Talisman Tbh you're supposed to have less damage than I do in this video, it's a glass canon build after all. Feel free to try it with the weapon of your choice though, it's a lot of fun ! Thanks for the comment and good luck !

Les boss de départ type Margit, Godrick ou Rennala ont toujours trop peu d'HP à mon goût, donc à voir en NG+7 si je vais devoir adapter le niveau de mes cestes. Par contre je peux quand même sentir un boost plus ou moins conséquent en fonction des ennemis, Maliketh aura été ma plus grosse surprise durant mon affrontement contre lui en NG+4. Y'a plus qu'à theorycraft la Elden Beast pour essayer de la faire sans arnaque et je me sentirai enfin confiant pour la compilation No-Hit NG+7, plus qu'un tout petit effort !

Bloodhound's Step is your go to for... basically everything if you're struggling with a specific attack. I'm glad I could help !

@@VaheII I can manage everything else except that combo. With a bit of luck I can get her to phase 2 but that's where it ends. Could you explain if there's a specific way or rather timing for the bloodhound step here? I refuse to use a shield so this seems like my only option.

@@juwe7143 Maybe the Bloodhound's Step got nerfed since the release of this video, so what I'm gonna say might not be up to date. When you see her jump in the air, try to wait for the last moment to dash two times behind her first flurry, the second one is avoidable with the same strategy except just a single dash is necessary, same thing with the last one. It's just a matter of feeling confortable with Malenia's startup animation, with a bit of practice you'll be glad to see the flurry instead of anything else. :') Certainly not the best explanation out there, but I hope it will help you to win this duel !

Honnêtement tu te débrouilles relativement bien à l'écrit, déjà mieux que certaines personnes de ma ville. :') When it comes to a normal playthrough, I think Elden Ring's bosses contain a few of From Software's greatest designs. Malenia is probably their best fight yet, while the others are - in my opinion - ranging from pretty good to absolutely incredible. It feels like most of the major bosses were designed to accustom the player with something new, or just punish the bad habits he gained during his first run. You can't panic roll Margit, you can't spam Godrick, you need Torrent's double jump if you want to dodge the Fire Giant's snow wave, and so on... Now if we're talking about no-hit runs and RNG... Fuck Radahn's shotgun and fuck the Elden Beast's homing light, that's it ! Most of the game is extremely fair and rewarding. I'd say it feels like certain attacks were designed with spirit summon in mind, but there's always a way to avoid most of them without spawning a Mimic Tear +10 to tank the shit out of the challenge. I just beat the game, thinking of trying a challenge run for the first time (after I beat Malenia, still stuck on her lol). Sometimes I wasn't sure if I sucked or if the game was being too unfair, so I was really curious what you guys, that are extremely good, thought of the experience. Cheers!

@@VaheII what about radagon's rng. I see you dealt massive damage to him, idk how, so you didn't give him much time to attack you. But he has a lot of attacks where he can follow up with different ones that require different dodge timing and it's just based on rng which attack he'll do

​@@Pinocchio29 It's actually not RNG based tbh. Radagon's always using hammer combos if you're close to him, maybe a few almost instant thunder spears to catch you off guard, but it's pretty rare. You just have to learn the follow up of his few melee combos and you're good to go ! Even though being able to react to his pattern variations and different timings might be easier said than done. Just keep in mind that his big attacks are locked behind a few life bar thresholds (the first light footstomp followed by a hammer jump attack 0:18 and the teleportation followed by three hammer smashes, the last one being heavily delayed 0:28), if you're paying attention to his HP it's practically impossible to be taken by surprise. This wasn't the best explanation but I hope it helped a bit !

@@VaheII yeah i love it when he does those attacks because they can be dodged properly. But not all of his attacks are always the same. Especially the teleporting shit he can sometimes spam even if you are close to him. Once he teleports in front of you he can follow up with like four different attacks. And i think some of his normal hammer combos can be chained differently too. If there were a hint that told you what combo he'll do it must be his hair moving slightly slower or the teleport thing shining a little more or idk some unnoticeable thing because it took me like 4 hours to finally be able to beat him consistently IF i don't get bad rng, and i never noticed any hint to his different combos with same first attack
