Sweetie they need to come to the South having a nice trailer in Arkansas mean you have made it & doing semi good in life😂. The trailers look better than the $200k plus houses in my hometown which are so outdated and in bad need of a renovation.

Its not that far beneath the average persons means. In fact its probably similar. Except it'll attract tornados while regular homes don't. Putting fake trailer parks that are not lived in outside of towns might save lives when tornados go straight to them.

I have a nice big house now after getting married but my tiny one bedroom trailer i bought seven years ago for 4800 and fixed up by myself is STILL my favorite place ive ever lived. I miss it all the time.

This is a rare find

It's not that anyone looks down on people who live in trailers per se but they look down on people who don't maintain their home. Same goes for people who don't mow their lawn or let their house fall into disrepair or horde shit. You've got a lot of people building custom tiny homes now that are smaller than most traditional trailer homes and they don't get the hate because they maintain their home. The real issue I have with trailer homes is the land owners can hike up your rent KNOWING you can't afford a rent increase and if you can't afford a rent increase, you can't afford to move your home. Unless you own the land, buying a trailer home on someone else's land seems like a dumb move.

I loved the bird hanging out with you guys. 😂 and thanks for this video; our house is quite small and it was nice to see one can make a small space tidy. We tend to just wind up with things stacked on top of one another and I think organising it a bit more towards categories will help me know when something is running out. Regarding cheese and eczema; my daughter has the same problem! I'm also somewhat lactose intolerant (I can drink A2 milk) but we love cheese in our house. 😂 We've found a solution with goats milk products, as we're not keen on vegan "cheese", and both my daughter and I are able to drink and eat goats products without problem. I make my own cheese sauces, chocolate milk, soups, everything that you would normally use cows milk for and my cows milk pureist husband doesn't even notice a difference. The last time I was back home in Maryland I did have trouble finding the yogurt and butter, but the local Mom's Organic Market had it. Worth maybe checking out for you guys if a local shop sells it. 😊

I want to move to the mountains of Arizona. As long as I have the acreage and outdoor space Im dreaming of, I dont care if I live in a mobile home or a 5th wheel. I would take that over my 2000 sq ft 4 bedroom home. Mobile homes can be beautiful.

Paying $1,000.00 a month to rent a patch of land to put your mobile home on is nuts! You can buy a piece of land you own for less.

Mobile homes can be an affordable choice for many but if you don't want to live in a trailer park and pay lot rent you'll need to do extensive research on the mobile home zoning restrictions in your area. Most municipalities have very strict rules when it comes to where mobile and manufactured homes can be placed. Do your research if you're looking to put one on your own land.

The best part about mobile homes are the kitchens and bathrooms. You can get beautiful designs for much less. I love the big soaker tubs!

These are mobil or manufactured homes without a motor or wheels, no longer trailers. The newer one are beautiful fully equipted with appliances, A/C, dry wall. We live in a double wide and we love how peaceful our park is, the park rules are enforced, so everyone must keep a clean, and kept yard, no loud music at night, we have rent control, community pool, playground park and we live near shipping centers and schools.

Some trailer homes are actually really nice however most of the time in the nicer more well-maintained mobile communities (like I'm assuming hers is) can be expensive and the cheaper ones that are sold by independent landlords usually look nice on the outside but are pieces of shit on the inside so if you're not ready to pay lot taxes or maintenance fees, mobile homes and trailer communities may not be for you

Insuring them is tough too, but owning the land the mobile/modular sits is a big factor.

In illinois They call those types of homes senior living homes in the middle of nowhere and rent is cheap. The problem is that only seniors can rent them😢

Oh also I learned you can buy a portable storm shelter and bury it if the lot allows!
