I watched your videos. You are a very good story teller of the hell you went through. I would like to add that you were running 103.7 fever Tuesday night at the hospital so you might not remember the whole conversation with the admin woman. They wouldn't admit you without the 1500 payment, which you did. She said she still couldn't get hold of the insurance company and without that guarantee that they would be paid you would have to pay the cost of the surgery up front, 18K. She didn't say they would do the surgery and then talk about payment in the morning. You had me check with Jeannine how much you had in your HSA. I got through to the insurance company thank goodness and they said not to worry they will be dealing directly with the hospital and taking care of everything.

Hi. How do you find the garage after a few months of installing it? My concern is that the landroid won't sense rain while under cover and it will only do so after departing from garage. I have a low section in my yard which can become water logged, and I am not sure how the landroid will go when it gets there while following the perimeter cord on the way home

There was a recall on these to have something replaced to help with the transmitter disconnection issue...or at least this is what my dive shop was told. We shipped all our Aeris A300CS back to Oceanic (as they absorbed Aeris recently), something was done to them, and all the computer were returned. Odd thing is that the computers that were sold to customers where returned with an Aeris A300CS, but the stock of A300CS that were not sold by my dive shop were replaced with Oceanic VTX. I have noticed a difference in the firmware versions, the software loaded, and just the feel of the buttons and hardware between the two. I have sent emails to Oceanic asking for answers on what the differences are and what was done to my computer, but have still not heard anything from them about any question I have sent. I like the computer. Some of the recommendations I have made to the company are in the Oceanic VTX, but still not on my A300CS. I am a bit concerned about this computer and am not happy with the customer support I have received from Aeris\Oceanic. I believe I see a used Aeris A300CS on ebay and a Suunto EON Steel on my wrist in my future very soon.

I have a problem with my computer staying connected to the transmitter. Other than that I love it.

Used mine for first time yesterday, had same issue, pulled battery fixed, this morning totally wrong again after sitting on desk for night. Combined with no elapsed dive time display on main screen, only on alt screen in very small print, and a weak wireless connection, this dive computer is going back, it is simply unsafe to use as your primary computer. Pity had a lot of great things going for it.

I was about to tell you the same- i called them and they told me to open battery compartment. This power cycles the computer. It fixed things for me as well.

Still have yet to hear ANYTHING from Aeris...even a "We got your message and we are looking into it" message...:( In the mean time I removed the battery for a few seconds...put it back in and calibration seem to be working again. We had another computer that had a screen issue. Took battery out, back in and that fixed that issue as we'll. Dive safe!
