Starcraft worker mining tutorial and tips

Honestly, worker mining efficiency is probably the stupidest part of SCBW. But, it gives you something to do early game.
Zerg Micro Challenge With Commentary

Going through a zerg micro challenge map and adding commentary.
Starcraft Mutalisk Tutorial (But actually good)

Stryker: "Mutalisk bounce damage is actually 9, 3, 1, and does 13 damage in total." K.
I think conceptually this is great, but I don't this is possible anymore. Nobody is this bad anymore. It's so inaccessible as a newer player in '24. Really depressing.
Are you still playing?
Just play zerg, easy race
It’s been 3 years, Hawk. When is the series S to F coming out?
It’s so much harder than you make it look! But I think it’s a good roadmap. It’s just that there are subtleties you understand that only come from experience.
3:15:20 - finally psi storms appeared. Most annoying in ZvP
If in first game opponent make Drop Dark on main, it's all
lol this is insanity ^^. gotta try that mouse only thing to get rid of all my bad spamming habbits D:
Big difference from a Terran player: he's muted the game music to play something else.
Listening to old school Jenkees and playing Brood War. Now that is a man of quality.
My apm is always below 60... how can I micro with that??
Where do I sign the petition for part 2?
Тhank you Hawk really apreciate it 🙏🙏
This was very helpful...I must know, why is your keyboard dirty?
not dirty, but erased paint

I used to be a sc2 gm (2020-2021 EU servers, not playing anymore) and always thought I wouldnt even get to C in sc1... its insane to me how you dont even use hotkeys at all. I wouldve thought the skill ceiling even in these low ranks is much higher!
Awesome tutorial!
This is the first and only tutorial on the english side of the internet with so many incredibly helpful insights that actually takes in consideration player skill. Thanks to this I've finally left F rank
Wow, this is god sent!
Thank you for sharing this information! For the scourges do you use key move and patrol or right click move and patrol? After that do you use right click move or key move? By the way, what key do you use to unload the Overlord?
Are there any tips/tricks/shortcuts to improve macro as zerg? Or does it just come down to camera locations, and APM? I feel like I'm possibly missing something hotkey related... idk, probably just too used to how fluid the macro in SC2 is. Great video, looking forward to watching all of it eventually
One thing I don't understand is encouraging people to use more easily accessible playstyles and strategies like staying away from certain units or expanding. Doesn't that just build bad habits and make it harder for the player to continue to progress? Once they get to E, D, C whatever they'll have to pick up what is basically an entirely foreign skill set and get disappointed when they could have gradually been improving most of those skills simultaneously.
Oh! You address that at 5:20:54
That's a disgusting ass keyboard. Nice gameplay tho
Thank you!
Thr shift+a+q thing or w.e? That was amazing!
Best video to learn made by far! Thanks for recording it! Thanks for making it happen! You are the Bob Ross of the sc bw my dear! Thanks to your teachings I am learning sc bw in such a fun and stress free way! After 25 years you gave me the power to enjoy sc bw stress free! Love!
Niiice. I just wish u started with how to clump them up with the larva or overlord or whatever
great personality and a big thank you hawk, this is just great!
Where is part 2?😅😅😅
Man I wish there was a part 2 😭
D players now feel like b players in the video
great video! is this still applicable now? I am on E rank and struggling
This was awesome. Ty bro 🙏🏽
I thought right click was move command by default
Thanks for the video!
Doing it super low APM is kinda besides the point. Bad players generally aren't held back by super low APM; they're held back by lack of game knowledge. You know exactly what to scout for and how to react. Obviously when you know the perfect response to everything, you don't need much APM.
That is exactly why it is the point. When starting out, it is more important to concentrate on fundamentals and to not lose track of what is really important. Trying to boost APM which you can't properly utilize anyway is not a priority.
Wow, a tutorial that does not teach players to rush and be toxic. Great, Keep going!
why do you consider rushing to be toxic? it is a style of playing anyway.
Sure, but when you play terran, there is litterally almost no way you can defend against that. Unless you're ScaN.@@invisiblehippo4162
Keep it up!
Great content man. I love this.
Funny you cited Artosis, the whole time I was just hearing his voice in my head screaming "ATTACK MOVE! ATTACK MOVE!" :D Anyway, just found this video, I'm lovng the chill vibe. Haven't played SC in forever (and mostly matches with friends), but it's so pleasant to watch. Pity that this channel looks dead though.
it took me 2 full days but i watched this whole video. great job. love how the music progressed through out it as well h
is part 2 coming out?
dear hawk, sometimes when i press C the scv goes slower and returns slower...any advice? trying to improve my timings...thank you!
Is been 2 years bro. Wheres part 2
is wraith micro any different than muta micro?
"But you're going to create competition for yourself!" Lmao who the hell wants to play ZVZ
great run
I think it's pretty encouraging to see you can play the game without smashing all over the keyboard all the time.
Watching this guy smoke some poor bastards with just the mouse ☠☠☠
Hey hawk, I love this video and keep coming to it at different points. I was wondering if there was any chance you make a tutorial for the new ladder maps as a zerg. I don't really know how to learn all the little nooks and crannies that people seem to manage to use during the game, or the typical/recommended strats on maps. I don't even know which base is my third and stuff like that.. Don't know if that'd be too much work, I don't mean to demand anything, just had the idea today while losing to a P on dark origin.
Thank you! Very helpful. I appreciate this :D
wounder how high you can get via 7 or 4 pooling.
