Walking and recording towns and cities. I've been a cinematographer for many years so try to capture light and atmosphere within the scenery and buildings. Also believe that the sound is equally important so listen for my steps, animal life and weather conditions while watching the visuals.

Bourne End is a village in Hertfordshire, England. It is situated on the ancient Roman Akeman Street between Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead, on the former A41 London-Liverpool Trunk Route,[1] on the Grand Union Canal [2] that runs between London and Birmingham and at the confluence of the Chiltern chalk stream, the Bourne Gutter and the River Bulbourne. It is in the Dacorum Ward of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield. The walk comprises a number of canal locks and the Three Horseshoes Pub.

i always hated rain and cold weather, it makes me feel awful even to this day. and depressed, and i get headaches, and generally it just proper gets me down. but something about this magical city makes it so special that i would have lived there in any circumstances, let us say it's pouring with rain all day, or it's snowing so hard you can't even see things before your eyes, or it's the sunniest and hottest day ever - i'd have gone for a walk without a moment of hesitation. i've been dreaming about oxford for so long already, and on one hand it's well frustrating, very exhausting as well. on the other hand, however, it just gives me a sense of goal, like a thing i have to work towards to make my life fulfilled. maybe it's naive, but i'll never stop thinking about this beautiful place and the very thought of it inspires me to work harder, make money, and grab opportunities. thank you for filming this! hope i get a chance to stroll across these streets one day, and to contemplate the stunning architecture and cultural meaning that the city's loaded with.

With the mist and older buildings you could almost imagine what it might have looked like a few hundred years ago! I grew up in this lovely city , but sadly we had to leave when I was 17, and part of me will alway call it ...home! Went back for a visit approx 10 yrs ago and it was so much busier and very nostalgic. Thanks for this great video.

They were still sleeping or having a breakfast 😂. It was quarter past 6 in the morning (you can see the time on the town hall clock).

Прекрасен город утром ранним, без суеты и без людей. Увы, но вечером бонально полно на улицах бля beй.
That was one of the things that amazed me when I visited London was, for such a huge city, how deserted the place is early in the morning. If you're an early bird (like me), you can get a good 3-4 hours of uninterrupted filming done if you get going around 5-6am..Not to mention the incredible sunrises! Plus the first video I ever took was right in front of Blackfriars station right near where that cleaners cart is by the tree..My very first purchase in London was a coffee from that FCS shop, so I have a special place ion my heart for vids of that area..Thanks! Oxford is so beautiful and peaceful in the early morning. Probably the safest time of day to be out walking as well. Thank you for this amazing walk through Oxford.

I lived on Abingdon Road a few blocks and same street as Christ Church. I attended Oxford at Hertford College. I walked these streets frequently. This brings back memories.
