[PoE 3.24] Archmage Storm Call Build Showcase (Uber Eater/T17 Sanctuary, +300%hp, Union of Souls)

*CAUTION: Due to recent 3.25 changes, inspiration now grants "less mana cost" instead of "reduced mana cost", resulting in drastic mana cost increase.
This is an improved iteration of the previous Firestorm build. Think of it as a supplement.
It's been overlooked by many people that how powerful the Hierophant Ascendancy can become when paired with AoE overlapping. This build is currently at 4.5m radius. While the paper DPS might not stand out compared to the top Archmage builds you can find on poe.ninja, it can theoretically deal up to 3x damage with proper positioning.

It's no lucky attempt. Before this I had 17 failed attempts with this 28% gamble, and it costed me 4 mirs approximately. It's pretty safe to say I've fell into the most unlucky 0.1%. Well at least I didn't end up with nothing right? lol.

Good thing about self-bleed is you can hit maximum frenzy charges instantly under any circumstances. No blood rage is ever needed. Also, Arn's Anguish is so underrated. This belt alone gives me 50% more damage. Btw can someone tell me what the fuck killed me in the end? PoB:pastebin.com/4ZtZSq72

Got lucky and skipped 2 of the 3 memory games. Not a dedicated boss killer build. It's hard to maintain 9/9 frenzy and power charges in most boss encounters, and stun immunity is also conditional. However mapping with this character is like fucking flying. PoB: pastebin.com/hLW5Ds5b

The key helmet mod now has become legacy. It's very difficult to replicate the same build in 3.25. However, the non-int stacking version has always been available. It's gonna be an entirely different build tho.

Thanks! Sadly my current 4.5m radius doesn't meet the requirement for consistent 5 overlaps. I can only manage to get 5 layers of overlap when against bigger mobs like the Abomination boss.

Actually crazy. I wonder if this is because of necropolis, the haunted modifier on helm with mana per int gives like 1k mana, maybe more

Well this is a high budget endgame build, so you probably want to start with a solid early game build like ice nova, and then respec later. I didnt level up as an Archmage at all tbh. And please notice the helmet mod is exclusive to the league mechanic. It's probably going legacy if graveyard isnt going to be added to core.
Archmage might be nerfed though. Keep an eye on it. If not: go for it
@@saltedfish8077 Even then, you'll have 10-12k mana instead of 16k - you'll probably still crack anything in this game in 2 tbh

Well several mirrors at this point. But the main issue is that the helmet mana mod is currently exclusive to the graveyard. If Necropolis is not gonna be added to the core, this build is going legacy.

Level-wise I think 90-ish should be enough for you to get all the passives to meet the baseline requirement of defence/mana cost.

Haha thanks buddy. But in reality I'm mostly a hideout warrior myself and pretty much only play in crafting leagues exclusively. Maybe I can do some crafting guilds in the future.

why no sniper mark?
Sniper's Mark does give more paper dps but the problems is it also alters projectile behavior. Projectiles will split into 2 and fire in random directions. As a result the initial proj which hit the target will not likely hit the target again due to trajectory changes, resulting in less hits per attack.
@@saltedfish8077 ye, no sorry, I usually play deadeye and with mark effect, it splits into way more than 2, which makes it hit way more consistent, doesn't even need to stay at a precise distance, but ye it makes sense not to use it with other ascendencies
How does mana storm work with an attack skill?
Looks like he's triggering mana storm with immortal call self-casts. It has a low cool down and its quality is increased CDR, so you can make it super low CD.
if anyone wants to buy this build let me know its about 5mirrors has everything he does also. was a fun last league build.
