    How do you like that particular lift? Would you recommend it? Also have you ever lifted a side x side on it?

    • @String-Ridge
      @String-Ridge 11 дней назад

      Yeah I really like the lift. I've lifted everything from a lawn mower, ATV, RZR, up to a full size pickup and SUV. So far no issues and I'd never go back to not having one!

    The fire happened 5 or 6 years ago. You could watch the tops of the pines explode. Next time you’re up there check out big red park and manzanares trail. Tons of camping, not many folks go up that far north. You can also ride up and over sand mountain from steamboat lake and get to California park. That area in the fall is amazing.

    • @String-Ridge
      @String-Ridge 16 дней назад

      We actually just did the manzanares trail last week. Only the second time we've done it but we love that trail! Had just enough snow to make it fun. Been up over sand mountain as well but never all the way to California Park before. Will have to check it out sometime. Thanks for checking out the video!

    Did you have oil pressure drop? I installed this kit and noticed that the cruising psi from 48-52 psi, dropped to 41-42 psi in a 1750 RPM.

    • @String-Ridge
      @String-Ridge Месяц назад

      Oil pressure is normal, did not change on this truck.

    • @Lnegg
      @Lnegg 23 дня назад

      Was the oil temperature the same when you checked pressure before and after installing the kit? Hotter oil=lower pressure. I’m asking because I have had this kit installed for a while and didn’t pay attention to pressure before and after and I’ve seen a couple of comments like yours and I’m wondering if I should remove it. I just want to make sure the pressure drop you saw is accurate

    • @mattyruppel1654
      @mattyruppel1654 23 дня назад

      yes. I have it both in 218 -220 F and with the kit was 40-42psi and without at same temp 48-52 psi @ about 1800 RPM.

    • @Lnegg
      @Lnegg 22 дня назад

      @@mattyruppel1654 thanks a bunch for the reply! I’ve had the kit on for probably 12-15k miles and haven’t had any issues and technically the pressure is “within spec” but I will probably remove it and see about putting my own custom kit together with better flowing fittings and all. Or just deal with the pain in the behind factory location lol

    • @mattyruppel1654
      @mattyruppel1654 21 день назад

      @ i only drove it for 300 miles with the kit on. I did call the company and they told me same thing that it is within specs, however I am a little hesitant to run 75-80 mph in the highway with almost 20 percent drop of the pressure. I guess I have to deal with the messy oil change.

      If we wouldn't have had the gasket issue it probably would have taken us 2-3 hours or so. The gasket set us back because when it slipped out we tore it so had to find a new one. It is still leak free and works great!

    I love your videos, thanks for sharing your adventures. We just got our 1st four wheelers and are loving it. We're in western Colorado, Grand Junction, so there's a little bit of everything close by. That's awesome, what kind of four wheelers do you have? I've never been to the Grand Junction area but I'd love to some day. The radios we use are Sena Spider ST1 and we love them. The mesh system is way better than Bluetooth. You basically turn them on, press a button and you are connected. Thanks for checking out the videos and leaving a comment. Much appreciated!
